I mean, in Magnus' case his buttflap does double as a giant amored plow-thing with potentially guns on them in vehicle mode so there is a logic in saying its butt-armor.

Well, one fairly long bus ride and walk to Smyths and I have nothing to show for it. I walk in, hoping to see Megatron, maybe even Shockwave, and instead find shelves fill of... Overlord? TLK Optimus? Wtf? None of these were here when I visited a couple weeks back. What is going on? Not even reduced either, I may well have even picked up Overlord if he wasn't £45 still.

For the record, they had a grand total of two Siege figures; Sideswipe and Cog. Neither of which I'm interested in. Frustrating. :BANG_HEAD:

After seeing JobbyTheHong's review of MP Tracks I realized I'd totally splurge for a WFC Trilogy Tracks. While he is an early G1 character he's not exactly an a-lister compared to the other cars and he's got enough unique things going for him design-wise.

I watched his review the second the notification popped up, and after watching it, I gotta admit that MP Teacks is still worthy of the Masterpiece title IMO. Sure, he's hollow, and that backpiece likes to pop off, but his articulation is decent, vehicle mode looks great, and his robot mode is nice. Plus, he is the best Tracks we have, so he lives up to the reputation of "Masterpiece offers the best version of a character"(ignoring a few glaring exceptions :BOOM: )

Anyways, he does deserve a better figure than the RTS one, and I would love to see how they can capture his sleek robot mode and incorporate his most important features.

Totally worth it. Depending on your Grimlock his stock forearms may break a peg when you take them off. Some are glued, some are not. One of mine was so I had to cut it.

The legs are done very easily and to great effect.

Won't happen any time soon since he didn't win the poll that's getting us Impactor and Mirage. He'll happen eventually, but there's no telling when since Hasbro is a little strange when it comes to the losers of the polls.

Well, to be fair, I think it's safe to say that we're likely to get them in this trilogy, as there's likely some designing done for each, they have no gimmick they need to conform to (like the 'evolution' gimmick of potp) so they can just be them and be released as standard figures. Also, we've finally gotten the omega supreme from the titan class poll, as well as, probably, some form of the 'evolution' magnus and shockwave from the potp poll :-?
I am not a G1 fan, please treat my opinions as such.

I was actually meaning to pose a question about this because the thought occurred to me the other day: are people going to be upset now if Spinister and Needlenose are not Titan Master-compatible to match TR Quake, or do they not care that much about that trio matching? Furthermore, how likely do we think it is that they would have that compatibility? We've seen at least 1 new combiner limb in this line, and there are rumors of Apeface, but we have no concrete evidence of that particular gimmick reappearing just yet.

I could see them maybe redoing Quake when they get around to doing the Double Targetmasters, since he was only one member of three in that group, so that they can also give him his Targetmaster partners.

Parts forming Siege figures like Cog can be used with figures from older lines if they have the same ports, likely won't be many but they definitely work with figures like Fall of Cybertron Optimus Prime and all too likely Ultra Magnus as well.

Do you guys know if the Ratchet Walgreens exclusive and Skywarp are actually happening sometime this year?

I read about some activity late last year but it’s been a little quiet ever since.

Keen to get both if I can but worries that they’ll be too exclusive and therefore difficult to get outside of the US.

Thanks

I was just at a Walgreens yesterday and they still had 2 Wreck-Gars and even 2 TR Clone 2-packs from the year before. I think Ratchet will be easy to come by, even from outside the US.
Hard to say with Skywarp. I don't think we even know what retailer he will be exclusive to yet. Do we?

You guys know how Siege Starscream's chest has a habit of popping off a little too easily?

Apparently there's a running change that adds a much-needed pin. Maybe. It's entirely possible that it's actually a modification.
