I agree. I would be ok with a new Bee in a Cybertronian alt mode.sol magnus wrote:Cobotron wrote:I miss Legends class too. I just like that size for pocket fun on the run.
But all I really want is a new Cliffjumper in a mold unique to him.
Maybe a new Warpath, but I'm the only one around here who can live with the CW one.
What other minibots are left that haven't been done in the last 3 or 4 years? I'm drawing a blank ATM.
Given that he's a big part of the story, I reluctantly think there should be a Bumblebee.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

We may be the only two. I really like them and they are the only figures in that mold I'm keeping. If new ones were released they'd have to be pretty **** good for me to jump.Cobotron wrote:Edit: Yeah, Pipes and Huffer. Good choices, but again, I'm the only one happy with the CW ones.

Gears & Swerve has been absent the longest IIRC. Yes they both did have T30 releases (and some T30 did get reissued recently such as Cosmos & Schrapnel). But I wouldn't be surprised if we saw them in the near future as a whole new figure, or an altered reissue of the T30 ones to service whatever the next gimmick is.
Also, somehow, my mind read the end of your statement as "I'm withdrawing *Blank* at the ATM"
Gears, YES! Good call. That's the other minibot I need in my Gen collection.o.supreme wrote:Gears & Swerve has been absent the longest IIRC.Cobotron wrote:What other minibots are left that haven't been done in the last 3 or 4 years? I'm drawing a blank ATM.
I can live with off model. I'm not a toon accuracy guy. Plus, it's called a "rescan". Happens all the time!AcademyofDrX wrote: In addition to Warpath, the Huffer/Pipes releases were off-model.

I'd love it if we could get a new Horri-Bull that's actually a deluxe. Especially the lead up to Scorponok. But I feel like the best we're going to get is Snapdragon and MAYBE Scorponok as the Titan for the year

Why not a new mold, they're kinda on a roll here with more new than old.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Well, Horri-Bull could be done as a Skullsmasher retool.

But why? They can pass that cost onto the consumer like they have with the Siege and Studio series line. I feel like we're getting better bots for it as well. Hasbro has seemingly acknowledged the collector market and are catering to us now (HasbroPulse/selects line/multiple exclusives). Go all in with the mini-masterpiece concept.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Well, they have to save money somewhere.carytheone wrote:Why not a new mold, they're kinda on a roll here with more new than old.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Well, Horri-Bull could be done as a Skullsmasher retool.

That's an awful lot of ifs and caveats for a mold that isn't that great to begin with. Retooling may mitigate cost, but there are still going to be cost.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Because even when doing that, they still have a business incentive to save on costs where they can. And I reiterate that doing Horri-Bull as a retool of Skullsmasher would NOT result in an inferior Horri-Bull. Not if it was done right, which it easily could be. And doing so would save development resources for Fangry and Squeezeplay, both of whom would need new molds no ifs, ands, or buts.carytheone wrote:But why? I agree on both of those, but why did you snip this?ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Personally, I wouldn't want to see retail line prices go any higher than they already have. I'm not talking retail products, I'm talking a hypothetical more premium line and would collectors be willing to pay a premium and if so how much more?carytheone wrote:I feel like we're getting better bots for it as well. A little column A, a little column B. Would you be willing to pay more for better figures? Are you satisfied with what Hasbro is putting on shelves?ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:That wasn't entirely clear. And the way you presented it kinda implies every new neo-G1 toy needs to be a premium collectors' figure, which I take it is not was not what you were going for.carytheone wrote:I'm not talking retail products, I'm talking a hypothetical more premium line and would collectors be willing to pay a premium and if so how much more?
