Hi guys, Im Psychout, one of the staff for the Heavy Metal War game and most of you will have already come across Burn at some point in here, we'll be two of the judges for this unique competition.

As this contest is to make a map for the actual game hosted here on SEIBERTRON.com and advertised across the entire internet and fanbase, the HMW staff have gathered together some information that we hope may be helpful for you.

The game setting will in a pseudo-G1 era outside of standard canon, and naturally some existing location details will need to be jumbled for game-logistical reasons, so please don't think you have to stay within the existing canon - feel free to use your imagination.

We also have of locations/zones we are currently considering for use in the game you are welcome to use, but again this is open to your interpretation as you guys are the artists, please feel free to involve as many or as few of these places as you'd like and add any you wish:

Five major continents, skyways, city-states (in light blue), ruins (in dark blue), a world-river of decaying metals(orange), acid wastes (green), and giant holes to the planet's "interior" (red)

The five major continents and their major city-states are:
Polyhex (NW): Protihex(N), Darkmount(E), Soniplex(Central), Iacon (S)
Stanix (SW): Vilacron(NW), Fort Scyc (S of Vilacron), Tyrest (Central), Yuss (In acid wastes)
Axiom (NE): Tyger(W), Helix(Center), Gygax (E)
Crona(S): Kalis(W), Simfur(E)
Kaon (SE): Kaon (Center), Ankmor(E)
Another city-state sits on the joining of 6 skyway branches near the ruins of Crystal City called Nexus.

I would say my strength is the graphics side as opposed to the "encyclopedic knowledge of Cybertronian geography" side of this project. I loved how Lorekeeper broke everything into continents, it had a very RTS game feel to it. So, with his permission, I worked it over a couple of time in Illustrator.



the version on my computer is totally scalable, the borders can be redrawn and any territories in debate can be rearranged. Capitols or other important landmarks can be added as well. as I said, I just made it pretty, so let me know what should be changed!
