i got the idea from a pic i saw the person who came up with the idea was mint condition customs. only i did not have to paint mine. i just added some wheels and a little cutting and drilling and bam! he is a triple changer. i also decided to give him better feet instead of those ugly chicken legs.

That is awesome. It beats Warbot in my opinion! What did you make the feet from?

Well played, sir!

It's impressive what a difference six pieces of plastic make.

I would have gladly bought your version of Springer had I found it on a rack.

Wow, that mod fixes everything! The proportions, the legs, it adds a third buggy mode (which looks very S7 styled)
I love it! It's everything you would want in this mold! :D

This is freaking genius! It looks so.... right. I just went and looked at mine (stock version) and comparing it to the pics, it's as if I got shorted half of his bits. Outstanding job making this look believable. Factory engineering in appearance is a challenging achievement, especially in a mod this substantial. Fantastic work! :APPLAUSE:

I was so inspired by Doubledealer's Springer, I had to do one myself. I am really happy with the results and that it required no paint. I took a slightly different approach though. I thought I'd share what I did with some extra detail to make it easy for others if they want to copy it.

All the additional parts are from a TF movie 1 Wreckage (i had two of them).
Parts from Wreckage:
- 4 Wheels
- 2 feet
- two shoulder ball joints (for Springer's new ankles). fyi, these were hell to extract and it ended up breaking Wreckage :-( .

The wheels turn wonderfully, are not wobbly, and seem to be very secure.
- To attach the wheels to the back I drilled tiny little holes in springer's original feet(lined up w/ the internal tube) and used regular screws that were pretty short (i think .5 in or less)
- To attach the wheels to the front, I put epoxy putty in the back of the missile launchers. Then I used the same screws to affix the wheels. Also, the missiles still work if you shorten the back of them!

I don't suppose you could do the same thing to my Springer, would you? 8-}

Yeah, that's really badass. Wish Hasbro was smart enough to implement a remold to make something like that.
