What prices are you all encountering for these toys?

I had recently seen the price on Cybertron Sky Shadow on ebay jump to $75+. BBTS, which is sold out of them, wanted around $80.
CD Scattorshot is in the 75 dollar range now too. Makes me wish I
hadn't passed it up when it was $13 clearance. Wing saber is in
the $50+ range and has been there for some time.

DAMN.

(sometimes these prices surprise even me)

Good thing I know a guy who has all of this stuff at his house MISB. That's where I got most of my Cybertron stuff.

You're right CP, Wing Saber isn't much worth it on his own. If it weren't for the sonic wing mode ... the fig would probably not be worth as much.

Then again, stranger things have happened ...

heck, now i'm REALLY glad i got mine way below those evil prices. (which might mean that my Cybertron versions WILL be more valuable in the future, yes?)

I think that all of these repaints of the Cybertron figures is a testament to just how good that line was.

Ahhh, well with the release of pics of the back of their boxes I'm now eating some delectible crow about my possible photoshop comment. It appears the bland color scheme is concentrated in alt mode for the sake of realism. Apparently bot mode is where the colors come into play. (Sarcastically) I'ts soooo much fun being wrong.

Anyways, I will most likely pass on Jetstorm since I have Jetfire & Sky Shadow. 3 of the same mold just seems a little excessive. However, I will likely grab Wingblade since Wing Saber was released only once.

For the record though, I think these colors are actually pretty cool! :D

I can't be the only person who is getting tired of store exclusives. It makes them hard to find and they have a much likelier chance at becoming scalper bait. Apparently most of the stores where I live don't get their exclusives in.

I hear ya. I groan every time I read those dreaded words. Especially the walmart ones.

There are six of them within a 30 minute radius from my home and only ONE of them had the Masterpiece Starscream (got lucky!). It's not just TFs either. Only one of those stores (a different one, no less) carried the exclusive Star Wars Galactic Heroes boxed sets.

I've had better luck with Target exclusives, but it's still a hit or miss proposition.

Having seen both the alt and bot modes of these I'm abit "meh" about them, their colour schemes are just lazy and unimaginative.

I realize the movie stuff is ment to be semi realistic but that doesn't have to mean dull, since the Wing Saber mold is a vague A-10 lookalike why not give him the dark green european scheme they used and paint a big sharks mouth on the sides of the nose? The Jetfire mold looks vaguely like a Russian military cargo plane so why not give him a green & brown camo with light blue under side like some late soviet era planes had?

Light grey with alittle bit of blue or green makes these a pass for me.

Are you a dedicated hunter though? Do you start checking stores daily after an announced finding? If not, that's why you don't get the exclusives. They are low in number and highly desirable; hence gone very quickly.

Is it just me or has everyone forgot about these molds coming out?

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about a release date for these.

At least TRU's tend to carry exclusives in all their stores, unlike Walmart.

I just hope these figures will not be overshadowed by Premiums and the Target exclusives.

Jetstorm is mine. THese repaints have revealed to me that I have a weakness for TF's with realistics paint schemes on their alt mode.

Wingblade, I dunno. Track down the original Wingsaber or swipe up this Wingblade and see what a green-ish Sonic Convoy looks like.....

Man... Can somebody photoshop/digi-bash a Sonic Convoy to have this Wingblade paint scheme?

Please?
