I think that with Grind Rod coming out so soon after Hegemon, and seeing how far along they are with both Aurora and Hardhead, I think they're developing figures in parallel to each other. I think we'll see Optimus, but probably not until next spring at the earliest.

lol. The color of the figure in the box is a different shade of green pictured on the box. I am happy with the forest green.

By the way, the reviews for Hegemon quality are not very good. Is this figure going to be plagued with the same fate?

Never had these guys as a kid, so not fussed about the colour. Do like Olive Green better, but I'm fine with whatever I get.

Hegemon has a lot more fiddly parts than these little guys are likely to have. Even so, I'm waiting on reviews, and even then, probably won't get them all. Bring on Goldbug and Wideload!

I'm holding out for Freeway and Chase. If they end up being some badass sportscar-formers, I'm in. If they end up being a couple of lame compact cars (a-la Prime Rumble), I'm out.

And I've just Hit Ship my POL as MP Lambor has landed at the same time so that's going to be a very good day when it arrives. I've got Hegemon and while the "cheap" quality of the gray plastic is annoying it's still a solid figure so I'm down for these guys. It's not like Hasbro will EVER get around to them.

MP-12 is in my POL, but this guy is still showing as pre-order...

Hope he is in soon, want to ship my loot.

Cheap? What are you talking about? My Hegemon is rock solid. I admit that the gray plastic in his arms is a little soft, but other than that, he's rock solid. I have no complaints about the figure or it's quality.

I'd gladly give ToyWorld more of my money, in a heartbeat.

Cheap - as in quite a number of people have had issues with Hegemon.

I know the left knee is too tight and needs to be loosened up, plus the arms (the pivot point under the flaps) tends to be loose, and some were shipped missing parts such as the trigger.

However, the missing parts were replaced, the arms can be fixed with some nail polish, and the knee isn't a big deal if you can use a screwdriver.

For their first major release, I think they did quite well. Perfect? No.

Not a deal breaker, because I'm still not sure this is one I'll buy, but I did prefer the original color scheme.

Still, looks like a very nice figure.

Well,... that's disappointing....

While he does look better with Olive Green it isn't a deal breaker for me.

I do see some of the plastic swirls in the close ups but everything else looks pretty good from the photos, so far. Is Goldbug one of the planned releases from these guys?

It's speculated as such. The newest silhouette shows they plan to release 6 figures total and Goldbug was part of the original Throttlebots after all.

Really, really don't understand why they did what they did with the color though... it was practically a perfect Rollbar. They better not try to do a repaint with proper colors down the line... that might work for Hastak, but I expect better from 3rds and I won't play the same game with them.
