One possible way to help please both the "long" and "short" groups would be to keep podcast length about the same but to break it into 2-3 parts so that people can listen to it easier over a few days between podcasts.

If there is a lot to be discussed then I welcome the longer editions. Especially since I do not have the time to read everything online (only the things which catch my eye). Everything else which I missed I usually learn in the Podcast. I do not know how most of you listen to the podcast but when I listen to it on my iPod it has the ability to play it twice the speed for those who think it is too long.

Like always, great show guys! It's entertaining when you guys make fun of Bob buying everything!

I thought about suggesting the same thing initially, but was trying to think if there was a way to still download it as a single file. If you had to instead download two or three separate files, you're just trading one mild inconvenience for another...

Appreciate the feedback, but long episodes are going to happen from time-to-time guys especially when we fluctuate how many people are on the show. 1.5 hours is the ideal time that we strive for, but from time-to-time we'll have episodes that run 1.5 to 3 hours. It's going to happen. We're also not going to break the files into multiple parts. The site's podcast section isn't programmed that way and I think it will cause more problems by having to have multiple parts.

Longer episodes just mean you have to stop the podcast at some point and take a break. Or use the pause button. All tools that are easily accessible in iTunes or with any program or app that you are using to listen to this. Just have to take note how far into the episode you were when it stopped. Pretty simple!

Didn't realize you were on an Android device. I just checked with my phone and it has the same problem. If you look at the code that it displays, the link to download the file is in the code (look for ".mp3"). Why the Android browser isn't parsing the HTML, I don't know. I'll have to look into it next week ... this appears to be a problem with the Android browser, not with my code. Hopefully I can find a work around for it.

What's really funny is that my tablet is also Android, but it shows up just fine in it's browser.

Since the problem seems to be isolated to a problem with the mobile browser not parsing the HTML in an RSS feed, I'd suggest the best way to resolve this problem would be to use an actual RSS app to parse the data. Have you installed an RSS app yet and tried the feed at http://www.seibertron.com/podcast/rss

I was unaware there was an RSS app. I'll have to look into it. Before now, I'd only listened to one podcast and they post a direct link to the MP3 file in the podcast thread, so I have never had a need for an RSS app. I'll post again if I got it to work or not after I find one.
