Weirdly the current home of cheap TR Voyagers, Kapow, have Broadside at £27.99 supposedly down from £29.99. A bit different to having Astrotrain and Alpha Trion at £10.99 each.

Or if you want both, they're being sold together for £20.

Kapow's got the Wave 1 and 2 Voyagers on sale -- but Amazon's got you covered for the Wave 3 voyagers. Megatron for about £15 and Optimus for £18

Still can't find any Wave 2 stuff in Toys R Us, the Entertainer. Just Argos and it's just the Deluxes...and overpriced at £24.99.

Toys R Us do have Leader Megatron and Prime at the massively overpriced £64.99 each.

Btw anyone found RID Galvatronus yet? coz Argos have him in their in-store catalog(& yes! specifically him! with his own item number & everything) but when i entered it into the in-store machine(item checker) they didn't have any in yet! so i dunno if anyone else's having any better luck?

i checked Smyth's Toys too!(the actual store!...not online) no such luck there either

update....

Checked a few Argos around the Glasgow area(including city centre) the only result that was coming up on the in-store item checker was Menasor! i even checked a TRU(which only had Menasor & that Beeformer), Smyth's Toys, A1 Toys & Hamleys! to no avail! so it's looking very much like he's(RID Galvatronus) not avaliable yet(certainly not in my neck of the woods anyway :( )

Picked up TR Topspin in Smyth's Nottingham this afternoon.
They also had plenty of Hot Rod's and Blurr's and a few Twinferno's, Getaway's and a Skullcruncher in deluxe size and Optimus, Megatron and Broadside in voyager.

BORING! Only tings that weren't here last I looked are Leader Prime & Megs.
No Wave 2 TLK Deluxes. No Wave 2 Tiny Turbo Changers. No Wave 4 Titans...
No wonder my money's been going elsewhere on TMNT movie/classics Mega Bloks sets...

Apparently certain Asdas have TLK Hot Rod but none I've been to even stock proper TF figures. Will be in Bury St Edmunds for first time in ages on Thursday so will check stores there.

I decided to collect more stuff from the lack of transformers/prices in stores, even considering transformer rescue bots at this point o.O

looks like one of my recent ebay buys from China is another scam seller too :(. My local asdas have TR wave 4 deluxes, I avoid live action stuff like the plague and don't really look at the cartoon stuff. Only way I know to get tmnt classic megabloks is over the net and usually at a premium (only got classics Krang so far and consider the prices I've found the bebop/rocksteady packs reasonable enough but got distracted by some bandai S.H anime figures). Smyths had more trypticons in but the boxes were tatty (tho I'd probably throw the box away anyways) and I'm waiting to see if the latter batch numbers = better legs proves to be true on another thread here.

Bebop and Rocksteady packs (each with 3 foot soldiers) are £10 each which for four highly posable mini-figures plus accessories in each box is a hell of a better deal than Lego. The Classics Party Wagon I got for £36. The movie TMNT stuff is really good too with lovely details and good light/sound parts. I've now got the cryo chamber, garbage truck, jungle takedown tank and Mikey's skateboard set (which includes a flight stand I didn't even know Mega Bloks did which will come in very useful for all sorts of cool posing). Bought me one of them large Lego road plates to display some of the sets on and maybe build myself a New York apartment block wall with windows and fire escapes, all sorts of things to stand or hang the mini-figures from. Also I been posing the movie TMNT with the movie Transformers as I think the scale works out quite nicely for the most part. I did buy a cheap Nicktoons set of Leo among the tank/skateboard sets today but nah, the colours and styling just don't do it for me so I'll sell that one on and just keep with movie/classics. Hell, even some of the Call of Duty and Halo stuff are starting to appeal to me and I hate those sorts of video games. And then ya got these small starter sets of Picard/Borg, He-Man/Skeletor, Alien/facehuggered-victim.

Yeah I'm clearly enjoying TMNT Mega Bloks/Construx a great deal more than Transformers in the past couple weeks. This current piss poor distribution of anything but the old waves mentioned in my previous post is extremely frustrating. I don't really know who's at fault but it's meaning my money is going somewhere other than Hasbro's pockets.

Anyways now I've had a lil fun posing both classics & movie shredders on the shoulders of TLK voyager Megatron I'm gonna go to bed. Night all. :D

Walked into a toy shop today to see if there were any good deals. It's... kinda disgusting to see TLK's Premium prices in person. Especially when you've got a £35 Voyager TLK Grimlock right next to a reduced £16 Voyager CW Onslaught. Less than half the price for an arguably superior figure in the same size class... just incredible.

Honestly? Couldn't agree more
The local Asda has TLK Beserker (and presumably the rest of that wave) in at like £23 and I'm still not used to seeing it.
Ordinarily I'm willing to forgive the occasional price bump, inflation and what have you, but in the space of a year everything's essentially moved up a whole price point: deluxes for the 20-25 quid voyager tier, voyagers way up at 30-40, and leaders I try not to think about. I can only hope that this is a temporary thing for this movie (what with the "premier edition" tagline) and not a sign of the times going forwards...

If it is a sign of all lines going up like this, all I can say is thank goodness nothing in POTP interests me. It says everything really when Takara prices are pretty much the same as Hasbro.

Yeagh pricing sucks, especially when liking both the hasbro and takara color schemes. I should have just stuck to Masterpieces/KOs but the TR line has been so fan friendly other than pricing.

Probably pointless by the time this post is seen, ordered 3 titan masters (Ptero, fangry, sawback) with free shipping that runs out tonight midnight PST time or whatever it is(FREESHIP) on standard delivery from Target £12.33, under the customs/tax threshold so not a bad price on them to say they don't seem to be on the shelves over here yet (already got overboard:))

also if anyone is after the KO inferno MP this seller was reliable (£45 is cheaper than a third party effort!) but dont expect the packaging to arrive intact as none of the usual nice foam pack from other decent chinese KO sellers). Figure is nice, only 1 leg is ratcheted which seems odd but I have no complaints.

BNM K.O sighting instore:

If anyone remembers the BNM? oversized KO combiner war deluxes...they have the oversized voyager hotspot (defensor torso!!) £16.99 The thing is huge, looks like the ladder is separate from the vehicle in the packaging.
They have gone to the efforts of including a single mold chestplate that looks like the legends bike folded up (all be it in grey, green and orange colours). The olors of defensor itself aren't that garish.
If they had the oversized deluxes in I would have been tempted tho it probably won't combine knowing cheap K.O's :P

A disappointing trip to Asda Coventry resulted in plenty of boring real-world stuff like groceries but little of note on the robot front
The same TLK deluxes all the way up at £23, and some Crash Combiners at the £18-ish mark. New additions compared to last week (though I don't think altogether new to the UK) were some RID deluxes- Bludgeon was at the front of the shelf, presumably the rest of his wave were behind him. In all fairness the Bludgeon/Blastwave mold does look a lot of fun, but not enough for me to bite just yet at £18.

Popped into Asda in Lower Earley, spotted TR Preceptor and Quake for about £19, AOE Drift, Steelbane, and Sqweeks for about £22, and RID15 Twinferno (and possibly more) for around the £17 mark. A very nice range to see in the wild, but nothing I was really after.
