There's a fantoys Jetfire? :O

edit: oh never mind. It's Skyfire. I always hated that blocky bot with dorky face and bricky jet design for not being the sleek Macross mech even though I knew they did that why even back then. I just thought they could have done better...

Guess the original G1 Jetfire toy is still my fave Jetfire toy (also my fave ever G1 toy)

I was sooo disappointed when I got a macross VF (itchijoes no armor/booster) instead of the G1 jetfire as a kid, not realizing the toy for jetfire looked nothing like the cartoon version. Ended up loving the macross toy until its arm fell off :) tho I hated the metal springed landing gear, cracked many a finger nail back then. still have it now in all its yellow gray damagedness.

As much as I loved my Jetfire that landing gear scared the absolute crap outta me. Hurt my fingers often springing those out for landed jet mode and was always very wary when pressing the buttons and trying to move my fingers out the way as fast as possible.

I stand corrected, although slightly more expensive, these were available, and I recently got an eBay coupon code for 15% off, which I tried, and it WORKED! lol, $10,- saved! Paid $98,46 shipped and imported. About €84,- which makes SDCC Jetfire €42,- each. Joy!
Ordered both available Jetfires, as shipping and import duties barely increased, and plan on selling the second one. Plenty of Dutch collectors who'd love one I'm sure.

This was the code btw, in case someone else wants to try it: PLMGIFT17
Valid 15/12 to 21/12 so that was a very lucky find! Didn't even need to pay with PayPal, could use my CC.

The first wave of Power of The Primes legions and Prime masters is now out at forbidden planet stores in the UK. I found mine in the one at Newcastle.

I mentioned it elsewhere but I'll say it here too
RC Sqweeks down from £69.99 to £17.49 at The Entertainer (in-store, on their website or through Amazon/ebay)
I got one from the Cambridge store cos it's a really fun toy for the price and cos I felt sorry for the poor staff girl who was playing with one of them as a demonstration trying to sell them as they had about 80 or so on various shelves. It was never worth £70. It is however a cute enjoyable toy for under £18. Quite happy with mine. :D

Goes to show how ridiculously overpriced these toys are. Primus from $150 to £50, Squeeks from £70 to £17.50. Sheesh.

To a lesser extent I can't believe they charge £7.99 each for those tiny little not-Pretenders. They're barely Transformers, or even decently articulated action figures. Legion class figures too just seem too much for such a small simple Transformer when I used to be able to find the original movie Legends in 2007 in my then local Tescos Express (the tiny Tescos that doesn't sells toys in general but often has a few cheap ones hanging up in places such as Hot Wheels cars or Lego blind bagged mini-figures) for only £2.99 so often bought one with my bread and milk and such. And back then a Deluxe cost £9.99... whereas now it's £17.99-£24.99 depending on the line and store. Smaller figures like Legends Cosmos and Seaspray cost £12.99 each now... man...

Also I forgot to check for Slash but it will likely be there too.

It seems a lot of Tescos are having clear outs of Titan Returns. Legends at £7.50, Deluxe at £9, and Sixshot at £23.

Cambridge B&M didn't have any recent Transformers when I was there yesterday. Not that I'd get Sky Shadow even for that price (I think those Titans Leaders are just bulky blocky junk personally) but yeah I was hoping for something at least interesting. But nope.

My Local B&M had two TR sixshots on the shelves for £15 each

As blocky and as bad as the TR leaders are, some are still worth picking up. I was dissapointed with sixshot as I own the g1 toy.I pretty much transformed it a bit, got really disapointed with the gun mode and left it in robot mode. I never knew how bad it's knees were until someone mentioned in another thread here that the takara version had fixed it. I must have lucked out with mine because I got the TR qucikswitch and one of his knees is a floppy mess.

I got skyshadow to use as a pretend prender shell for the deluxe figure (that's how I use my baynus bludgeons) but it looks cool as a docking bay/repair platform for him (the wings seem to have been changed from the instructions as they can not be used to look like ramps in base mode as they can't be lowered to touch the ground)).

Some Tesco extra stores are clearing Titans Return deluxe figures for five pounds each. Saw kup, quake, topspin, and many many perceptors.

I chanced a 50 min bus ride away and no joy :( still in need of Kup and Perceptor -and at a fiver I'd probably pick up an extra Perceptor to paint black as magnificus. Hope others have better luck than I did.
My local Asda has the first wave of pretender decoys but I'm not willing to pay near £7 for them (yet...).

Sadly my local B&M doesn't have any of the £15 Sky Shadows I've been hearing so much about, but I had a look in today and they did have some Last Knight toys I had never seen at retail before, namely Legion Hound, Dragonstorm and Megatron, and One-Step Changer Megatron, Cogman and Scorn. I was also in a nearby TRU the other week and saw Infernocus, Skullitron and Deluxe Megatron. I didn't actually know Megatron had a unique head sculpt until I saw it, and even though I haven't touched the Last Knight toyline at all I was tempted to buy one.

For those who have got a Sky Shadow from B&M, what's the quality control like on it? I only ask because every Generations figure I've bought from them in the past has been rather poor quality. I got a Thrilling 30 Jetfire out of there once for £15, the joints were stiff, some of the paint wasn't bonding to the plastic, and the whole thing felt really flimsy and brittle. I also got a Roadbuster not long afterwards, it was covered in production scars, had stiff ratchet joints in the shoulders and weak joints in the knees, and it stank of burning plastic.

Been exploring Glasgow based on the tips for the Sky Shadows and 5 pound deluxes, here's the results (they had other stuff but I only pay attention to Generations stuff, apologies!) :

B&M, Shawlands - nothing

B&M, The Forge Retail Park
- No £15 Sky Shadows but... they had three £15 Sixshots!!!

Tesco Extra, The Forge Retail Park
-TR Voy Alpha Trion £8.75
-TR Deluxe Blurr £5
-TR Deluxe Scourge £5 (those two have been huge shelfwarmers in Glasgow toy aisles)

Also if you're in the market for it, they have Alpha-5 from the Power Rangers movie for £2.50 and the morpher I think for like £9 (and I got a 2TB NAS Western Digital drive for about £60!)
