there's a seller on ebay offering the whole AM line so far for what I worked out as about £23each after shipping. That's including the Voyagers. If I had the cash, I'd have it, and toss the few I don't want on here or ebay. But I don't have the cash. :P

Spotted a couple of Weaponizer Bumblebees at TRU. Go get 'im if you're into that.

Hey, I took the liberty of giving DM a shout about your sighting and scored you a news credit.

Oh, thanks! ^_^ My first news credit! *squeee* If you'd like some extra info;

Sighted at TRU Exeter, Devon.
There were only two Bumblebees - No Primes at all.
The shelf-tag said £34.99. This is pretty high for the size and complexity of the figure, if I may say so.

woo. scored a Classics Hot Rod. Can swap him into my Protector armour and have Challenge At Cybertron Hot Rod with...umm...the original version of the guy who got rereleased as Blesser. FP Firebolt, anyway.

Also got me a KO Magnus and City Commander set. Yes, KO, but at a 3rd of the price of getting a legit Magnus and City Commander armour. The armour is at least easy to get, but the Magnus...keeps going for too much for me for what's basically a skeleton for the armour. It'll at least let me weigh up my options on what it looks like, and if I do really like the idea of it, but maybe feel the quality is a bit poo, or the inner robot/cab is pants, I can hunt down the expensive ones later.

Got last minute sniped on the Blurr I was going to get though. Still, with GDO Wheelie and Springer, and FOC Magnus if City Commander doesn't do it for me, and Motobot or the 3rd party Arcee I'm currently winning on ebay...my S3 Autobots might be a damn sight closer to completion. Just still need to find the funds for Giant and possibly Hegemon. And something else, and something else after that. IT NEVER ENDS! ;)

Been out today, Sainsburys had nothing new, just wave 1's, my Tesco did however have Ratchet and Arcee, however I already have both figures so didn't buy them.

Went to Toys r us and they had both the Optimus prime and Bumblebee weaponizers, they didn't have a place on the shelf but there was a box unopened with 2 bee's and 1 Optimus on the floor, Wasn't interested in them so didn't get them, but the Prime did look cooler in the box in hand though.

Getting sick of hunting, it's always the same stuff. I just want a Vehicon! :P

Not to burst your bubble, but the UK is actually yonks ahead on distribution, compared to the rest of Europe.
Still, I wish you best of luck, and that the plastic may replace the philigrane.

Went into Liverpool today, their Forbidden planet was bare from anything new. But I went into their World's Apart shop, which is similar to Forbidden Planet and they had 2 Prime Hot Shots! Which means recently they'd of had the Vehicon and Knockout as well, they were just sold out of those :/

But I bought a Hot Shot any ways simply because I was determined to buy something, and I agree with what people have said about the little guy, the mold seems to work better as Hot shot rather then Bumblebee, even though I quite liked Bumblebee, the paint and colours are just full of Jammy goodness!

I just seriously overpaid for Hotshot and a Vehicon, £14 each at the newsagent. After seeing the price tag I put them back on the shelf then managed to justify the purchase with the fact that Tesco has a shelf full of wave 1 figures that aren't shifting and won't be getting in a wave 3 case any time soon and I'd be paying out for train fare or shipping otherwise. Shouldn't be making that kind of impulse purchase a couple of weeks before AA though. No Knock Out, but the newsagent splits their toy cases between their two branches so he's probably gone to the other shop a couple of towns away.

jAaM!!!!

I'm jealous of your jammy findings.

In other news, I spotted Weaponizers at TRU for £34.99.

And at Langley's, which is a Toymaster branch, they had Cyberverse Ultra Magnus for £7.99.
Is this the first sighting in the UK?
Also, apparently Argos now has both Weaponizers and the R/C toys.

Need to go back in town, see if I can get a Steve.

EDIT: Weaponizers, not Powerizers, dammit.

Ok, just got back from Argos (without Steve :( ) and noticed this in the catalogue:

Image

14 deluxes: So far I count Bumblebee, Hot Shot, Soundwave, Wheeljack, Cliffjumper, Vehicon, Airachnid, Arcee, Ratchet, Dead End, Knock Out. That's 11. Who are we missing? EDIT: Kup, Rumble, Ironhide. Solved.

8 voyagers: OP, Megatron, Bulkhead, Starscream, Ultra Magnus, Thundertron, Dreadwing and Skyquake.

Spending more money I shouldn't be... Character Building TARDIS console room marked down from £49.99 to £12.49 at Argos, couldn't resist, should be with me Tuesday. Pretty sure there's no variations on the Doctor, Amy, Rory and River figures compared to the series 2 blind bag releases though.

Masterpiece Optimus Prime

Can anyone tell me if you can still get the Hasbro Classics Masterpiece Optimus Prime figure in high street shops in the UK. I did see one in Toys R Us about three years ago.

Found this one on ebay the other week. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&item=170860529723&nma=true&rt=nc&si=MqF4Yk0u2%252B51xiT4gb4xJgQFmZ0%253D&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Not sure if it's the same model but I think so.

Thanks

Mike

I wouldn't get my hopes up with it being Argos. The last catalogue had HotShot and KnockOut pictured, but of course they never had them, even now.
