Where are you from, Stuartmaximus?

Are you actually a UK collector, or one of us fakers (I think there's only me left, actually)? :P

I'm still in touch with Siegfried, he just had some issues with the site's policy on third party stuff and a few other behind the scenes things before he quit from the staff. He's cut back his collecting as well so keeping a bit of distance from the community can help with not getting sucked back in.

I've yet to see the individual Kreons round my way yet but did pick up an interesting snippet on facebook earlier. This week's UK comic (technically out Thursday but some copies have shown up early in Tesco) comes with a preview wave Kreon on the cover. A bit pricey at £3.99 but being out in the sticks this might be the easiest way to snag those six figures for me.

Any board game/miniature enthusiasts among us at the moment? I'm backing a kickstarter project for Ted Terranova's Rivet Wars board game that funds next Monday. It's a cute but gritty, World War I inspired, steampunky game that's being published by Cool Mini or Not. The $150 pledge level has an absolute load of extras included already and is still growing by the day, take a look here http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/coo ... rivet-wars

Good to know he's ok! I might have to do the same soon, actually.

And thanks for the heads up on the magazine, might give it a shot if I happen past a newsagents.

I'm a faker in the sense that I'm only living in the UK, and so far temporarily.
I do have a collection, although I've stopped adding new pieces now. Or at least, I will do once I find FoC Starscream and Grimlock. My last figure will be Maketoys Mobine Series Chaos/Paladin. Because I love PCCs, and that figure is just gorgeous.

Might sell some older stuff, actually, but only after the summer. And I'll still be reading the comics as they come out! I love the writing, and I think that, like most IDW titles, they are severely underrated in the comics world.

I was going to write an article about that, actually. Might get back to it once this chapter is over.

WHOAH long post. Sorry!

You don't have to live in a place or be from there to report a sighting in that place. Nobody's a faker, we're all one big, happy yet disgruntled family.

I know! It's just that I was greeted as the Resident Italian, when Dead Metal was the Resident German posting in this thread. I quite like the difference-ness. :D

Me too, diversity rocks. Variety is the spice of life and all that. I'm a Welsh/Irish Scot after all!

Edit: Okay, I buckled and opened another one. Springer's code is 42.

I found out over Christmas, talking to my Italian grandmother, that I'm actually 3% Turkish, 3% Dutch, and 44% Italian. Then on my mum's side it's 25% English, 12.5% Irish and 12.5% French!

Oh and also, Transformers. In shops. UK.
(Just to keep it on topic, or Robotmel will shout at us. :P )

First they moved us from the toys forum. Then they took away our name and made us have the word 'sightings' in the thread title. But we are still the ODB, piratical scourge of the seven(ish) forums and we shall not go quietly into the night.

This was all before most of you youngbloods' times.

Don't bother with the attachment function, it basically sucks donkey dick. Get an account at photobucket.com, go for the free version rather than the premium, upload to that from your computer or other web device and each picture in your album will have a ready generated set of codings to use with different formats, copy and paste the IMG code into your post and you're good to go.

Smyths Toys have TFP:RID voyagers reduced to £16.99. The Bangor store I was in had Ultra Magnus and Starscream voyagers, so they must be getting new stock in finally.

I feel like we need to have some kind of war cry here. Like, "For Glory!" Except more disgruntled and British and transformers-y

In other news, I've not been in any shops so no sightings ;)

The British have no battle cries. If anything, they grumble. Or cough.

We could form an orderly queue, mumble as someone pushes in at the front then moan about the price of oil these days?

Anyone had any luck with Kreons in the TF magazine?
I forgot to stop by the shops, will try this evening.

:-?
You know what, I really made an effort to collect the new UK Transformers magazine from when it was announced and released, but ended up missing the odd issue here and there, only to give up entirely on it, finding it difficult to get a decent copy without at least a dozen spine breaks, mainly due to poor handling by staff and those bloody annoying 'free gifts' taped to the front! :-x

I know they only reprinted the IDW movie stuff but it did include a new storyline as I remember with new art etc?
I wonder if that new UK stuff will be reprinted in a TPB anytime? :-?

I might grab a copy of the latest just to see what these Kreon thingy bobs are all about? ;)
