Is the Slug in that pack the same deco as the normal release?

I've only looked at them both in package and there are no differences from what I can see.

Ah thats fantastic, thanks. After asking about the mini cons in another thread I'll definitely be on the look out for them.

Roadbuster and Sky-bite turned up from Kapow today!

Yay!

If any of you are looking for Transformers Dark Spark on Wii U its a Game exclusive in the UK and you have to order it in store.

Its the same main game as the X-Box and PS3 game, but lacks any online mode so it will not sell well. I don't know if that will make it rare, but its certainly not value for money sadly.

IT should be the new style one with the altered spikes/horns. The initial run has different horns, One set are more square/spikey and the other is more rounded. That's the only actual difference in molds.

I know that they have a habit of steep prices but I've only bought in-store from them and so I haven't a clue how reliable they are regarding shipping and all that jazz

Decided to bite anyway and (FINALLY) grabbed myself a Generations Springer at last-cost just shy of (or just over, i forget ) £25 shipped, which is pretty much cheaper than I've seen him anywhere other than possibly ebay, but being under 18 I can't have an ebay account of my own, making that option a right swine. Either way I'm happy with what I paid, and excited for it to arrive

Ahhhhhhhhh FP!

Right there are 2 Forbidden Planets online who both have the same Logos! One is the UK branch and the other is the Scottish (which is cheaper on some things). You often find both companies turning up to shows as well such as the LFCC and competing against each other event though the parent company is essentially the same.

If you switch between both companies you will find the same product on both web sites at different prices. Shop around and you can get some good deals.

Also consider the American Amazon website, quiet a lot of their toys you can order(given the £ is really strong against the $ atm it works out fairly cheap on some items). The postage is usually fairly cheap and you can often pay the import tax upfront avoiding the handling fees. Plus if Amazon US don't get charged for the import tax they refund you the money. Has happened a few times to me when I suddenly got a payment from amazon after a few months for that exact reason.

With the American Amazon, how on average is shipping? I'm still trying to find a good importer

Weirdly the horns on both of these are the same. Even weirdlier the single packaging says made in China and the Evolution packaging says made in Vietnam.

Hi hope this is in the rights place, has anyone used this site before? They have some very good prices, if so are they reliable?

Prices seem ok even if the selections rather narrow.

Never used them it herd of them before, so dealers choice really.

As for the US Amazon, postage can be decent but depends on the amount your sending and size, it all gets estimated first so have a look and make an informe decision based on that. The third party sellers tend to be a tad expensive from time to time

Let us know what delivery is like, there's a few things I wouldn't mind from there :)

Hi all,

Nothing major to report. Finally got hold of the AoE Kreons (Went to Smyths in Charlton) Somehow managed to pick up 11 / 12 even though I went through them and pulled out a whole set (Yay for code numbers!)

My Local Morrisons also (bizarrely) had a restock of Wave 3 Kreons. I again bought all they had, I am still missing a few from wave 3 and I figure it's good to have spares of this fairly difficult to get hold of wave.

Nothing else to report at the mo though.

Just been to Toy's'r us in Teesside Park and there's a flood of one step changers and power battlers. Only generation stuff they had was bumble bee, crosshairs and normal/evolution pack Slug (which I nabbed). They also still had all stock of Metroplex, Year of the Horse Prime and Starscream. They also randomly had one pack of Robot Heroes, the one with Black Aracnia and Cheetor(I think)

How much was the Metroplex going for? Is it worth picking up the UK version or better off getting the US version imported? I have relatives in the US that can help me out with shipping but it'll probably work out the same cost after customs. Not keen on the Takara colours for Metroplex.

Also, does anyone here in the UK order from the States? I've got a few things off ebay from the Far East but they've only been small figures which avoided any sort of customs fee. I just don't want to get stung with a whopping customs bill afterwards.

It was £125 (well 124.99) I think. Strange that Metroplex hasn't had the discounts the Year of the Horse figures have(Starscream is £50 while Prime is £99)

I've been waiting for a discount on Metroplex. Went to TRU Cardiff on the weekend and they've been cleared from the shelves. There's no way in the world they sold all of those in two weeks after they sat there for months. I wonder is something new coming to occupy that space (dream on...).

I picked up metroplex 3 months ago for £74.95 from TRU. when I mentioned it to a friend he went down the next day only to find them at full price again. Not sure if mine was a pricing error but still got the box and it's clearly labeled. With luck they'll do it again soon.

Don't think I've ever actually ordered from the states but in terms of import VAT, which is what you'll likely get hit with, it's anything over the value of £15 is charged 20% VAT, with an £8 handling fee slapped in that for good measure

£8? Last time Parcelforce delivered something for me it was more like £15 with their admin fees. Charging to take your money, nice.
