Yeah, and I've been very pleased with the Masterpiece figures for the most part. I think if Takara DID go for Soundwave, we'd be pretty happy with the results. There's a repaint possibility for Soundblaster plus an odd white version if they want. PLUS we'd all be in for cassettes....

They could package one with Buzzsaw, Rumble — and the repaint set with Laserbeak and Frenzy.

Maybe sell a separate set of Ravage and Ratbat?

Hmmm. They could sell the cassettes ALL separate and make a boatload of money.

Takara already announced that they'd do MP Soundwave a while ago. It was announced at the same tiem we heard that they would make an encore Fort Max.

Yeah, I think Takara realized what mileage they could get out of the Sideswipe mold, based on Classics.

Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Breakdown G1 and G2, G2 Sideswipe, Punch/Counterpunch, Tigertracks, 'Patriot,' Diaclone Police Sunstreaker, Clamp Down, Deep Cover, Red Alert, Scamper, Alternators Dead End, Armada Wheeljack, RID Prowl, - G2 Firecracker/G2 Gobot Sideswipe/G2 Gobot Optimus Prime/RiD R.E.V......

I think they may have some different parts, but I'm guessing with the recession and all... everyone will be a little more open to bots sharing a mold.

We're waiting for confirmation, but it seems that Sidecutter of CapturedPrey got an email from FansToys that FT-02 (MP not-Soundwave) will be released, though there are still some issues that are being resolved.

BTW, FT-03 will be not-Shockwave, to be followed by FT-04 not-Blaster - c/o deaculpa of TFW2005.

Man I hope that's the case! Even if this only serves to force hasbro/takara to realize the demand is out there and deliver, we still win. It doesn't matter to me one way or another who is on the recieving end of my order as long as it gets delivered.

Hopefully this'll coem out with no problems. And I'd LOVE an MP Shockwave. It may even be okay in a classics collection, considering that he's one of the bigger bots. Maybe.

Great! If quality control is good, I'll find room in my budget for both. Might have to forgo those fifteen Bumblebee repaints I was saving up for, however...

Seriously they are continuing with the project? Unless it differs significantly from MP Soundwave or if the price is much cheaper, I can't see how they can compete with Takara.

MUCH more interested in the casettes they have planned. I'll buy however many versions of Ravage and the rest as they make.

Still, I may get this ... but it's low on my priorities. Let's see a price.
