I got Peru Kill. You know what? Its my toy of the year. Unlike any other 3p toy I have, this one feels not more complex than it should be and it feels really well planned. Better than any MPM movie toy this year. It feels like a Hasbro/Takara toy from 2010. Really glad bought it and it being the same price as MPM04 makes buying it a no brainer.

So you were spared the custom fees? Awesome! And I'm glad you think Peru Kill is VASTLY superior than both MPM toys so far.

Oh, and Black Hat? Despotron is indeed FANTASTIC. And I LOVE his burly look. I'm still getting MP Megs 2.0 early next year, but I have the slight impression that I will still love Despotron more. We have to wait and see.

This arrived, today

downside is, found a stress mark on the peg on the back of the front section of the head(you have to take the head apart to swap faces, or at least it gives easier access to take it apart to swap them)

and there's even more issues! I was transforming it as the instructions demonstrated

and SNAP! a peg broke so I'm busy supergluing it together in the hope that it holds

So far so good. The vehicle mode is way superior than Leia's. How about the bot mode? And what do you think of the overall figure? Plastic quality, tightness of joints, ease of transformation, features, and so on?

The bot mode is quite good too. The only thing about it that i'm not a fan of (and something many people have already complained about) is that those backpack pods don't peg in anywhere, they just sit there hanging from the linkages that they're attached to, and which are on the loose side. They won't go anywhere by themselves but are easily displaced when handling the figure.

Transformation is the worst part. It's not difficult (did the reverse to bot without the manual) but there are a lot of steps and the figure is very loose and vulnerable when you're transforming it. Some of the transformation steps depend on flex in the material, most notably the linkages that go into the back pods need to be forced (or i'm doing something wrond).
Also, during transformation the upper and lower parts of the figure are attached to each other through a small plastic piece (the black one in the detail photo). Thera are a bunch of joints so there's flex but i would advise to keep both sections supported and to not force this part.

Those issues aside, she's an excellent figure and i'm very happy with her.

Thanks for the quick review.
Even though Rouge look good, I also love to transform my TF. Learning that she's fiddly in odd ways and have many critical fragile parts is a bit of a dealbreaker for me.

Just grabbed this interesting toy yesterday. Its a knockoff toy that clearly based of Generation 1 Dinobot Sludge in terms of design (The colors are Cyan and Yellow but in a a updated form with modern joints.

So that's what they are from, never thought of knockoffs off of a 3rd party series
Actually the T-Rex is in the instructions but not on the box. But it looks like stores are playing hard to get with importing Mr. Bronze T-Rex to the store or he's online exclusive only sold with the whole team.
The instruction manual also shows instructions for all of the members. The only lack is how to combine weapons for the big combiner.

Well at least these knock-offs have much more distinguishable individual colors than blue and silver (bronze,teal,purple, blue and red.)

Also added the Swoop/Ptero figure from this line last saturday when i went to see Deadpool 2. This one is really good except for the lack of heels like baltmatrix mentions. He also has the same issue like Apato/Sludge that the weapons can be way too tight in the fists but the swoop katana is at least really cool.

That we can agree on too. The Apato/Sludge combiner heel joint is ridiculously loose. Its no wonder it'll fall over at the slightest breeze.

Finally got myself a 3P "MP Jazz". The one I got is ZETA-EX03 JAZZY, formerly known as Toyworld Coolsville. And it's surprisingly good for how low it cost. Only 90$CAN plus taxes! The thing is shockfull of diecast and have an incredible amount of paint. Plus the joints are tight as a virgin on prom night. Seriously, this guy is amazing. I add a raised repro obviously.



However, it have it's faults. One sideview mirror had to be glued back on because it just fell off. Luckily the fix worked. Having an optional face made me want to have a perfect one. The original visor is way too dark and the light piping just don't work. So I painted it. Plus I add a black wash on that O face, bring in out the details.



The transformation is not too complicated but it's extremely fiddly and everything must align just right for the car to be perfectly aligned and tabbed. I didn't succeed completely, but I did good enough. The car is stunning. And quite massive and heavy because of the ridiculous amount of metal.



My Jazz collection only need a Movie Studio Series deluxe for now.

No, at first it was Optimus and Starscream. Then I branched out to other characters. Like Bumblebee, Jetfire, Jazz, and Megatron. There's also Soundwave, Ultra Magnus, Movie Hound / Bulkhead and finally, Galvatron. Those are the particular characters I have displays of.



I'll make a thread about it tonight and share pictures.

They're some sort of Rescue Bots knock-offs (of Blurr and Bumblebee), but I couldn't tell you who made them if that's what you're asking.
