Actually, to be blatently honest, I read it somewere. And to anchor that argument, I dont remember WERE!
I think it was some Q&A or something like that. They said that that he had died early on due to a long life frozen in ice. I kinda combined that with what my friend had said. After watching Korra, we know it's been at least 70 years, right? Seeing as how he was there for 100 years, tack on 70, plus the 12 he was said to be in the show, id'e say add a year at least during the show's progression for good measure, and your looking at someone who is over 180 years of age. It was my friend who got me into avatar, and he was the one who told me Aang died at an early age. I didn't fully believe him after watching Korra though, because he said Aang died in his 20's.
I guess I was thinking on both sides of the spectrum there for a minute when I posted about his early death. I need to talk to my friend about that. Everything he thinks he knows is wrong. And no, the friend is not me
BUT to keep this thread outside of Avatar waters, I wanted to say I just watched the original movie Fist of the north star. It was a bit confusing. Not so much the story, (though the way some parts were illistrated were confusing) but the fact that I know there is a series connected to that movie, I just dont know if the episodes come before or after the movie. I like the movie, but not enough to hunt down over 100 episodes. So I ask, is it ok to watch the more recent movies? Do they tell the same story, or do they continue it? Because there is just so much Fist of the north star out there I cant get a grip on it all.
