Not sure how that's related to the topic.

Where'd I put that lock ...

How can you talk about creating an entertainment ecosystem without touching on the content?

My favorite channel is NatGeo Wild. I like Big Cat week. I also like the Science channel's Insect Wars.

What exactly is an entertainment ecosystem? I can't say I've ever heard this before

It's a new industry terms. It's pretty much connecting all of your devices to one central hub and cloud so you can take the viewing experience anywhere.

Did you also add an entertainment ecosystem while you were at it?

I certainly can. When I first saw 4K, I thought the **** was 3D without glasses. I was watching a 4K You Tube video, and it was like the thing was shooting out of the screen.

An app on your phone can control your set-top-box via your voice. The reason why you had to fix your toilet is because it still uses mechanical parts to flush. An app on your phone that links to electronics in your toilet would allow you to flush via voice. "Number 1" for medium and "Number 2" for tidal wave.

I heard somewhere that the main driving industry in this so called ecosystem was the Adult Video Industry. Video on demand, downloads, tuning up electronic payment systems were pioneered by that industry. Too bad they all have fallen on bad times.

And Burn, it's DC potshots/probing again. Kind of like what those aliens do with human sphincters.

If your favorite show is let's say Game of Thrones, watching an episode will include an option to download any and all seasons so that you can binge watch.

Do you have a link for this? Lets see how my tv handles this.

I suppose that depends on what you consider entertainment while punishing the porcelain.

A voice-commanded shitter? Yes, please!

I think Japan already have them, and the options of cleaning up once your done. (But then again Japan is a strange place where you may want to double check what vending machine your using)

We have the technology to play a movie on your TV, pause it, and play it back on your iPad when you want to finish watching it.

You can also watch YouTube and listen to Pandora via apps programmed into your set-top-box's user interface.

You can schedule programs to record on your box using the app on your phone. You have at least 5 tuners so you can record 5 channels at one time, plus downloading OnDemand content through Ethernet all at the same time!

I just looked, and the video I watched is still there, but it doesn't have the 4K option, anymore. I don't know why.

Is it just me, or are DG and Sly the only ones taking this thread seriously? For that matter, I'm not even so sure about DG.

I don't even know what the Hell the thread is even originally about. I saw a post I felt the need to comment on.

It was better back in the 80's, before cable and satellite were prevalent. The shows were of higher quality. Now it's all reality shows.
