Time to go get the whole run of TF: animated to this point.

For everyone looking for a DVD to iPod converter, the best one i've found is called "Ideal DVD to iPod Converter." it's super-simple and all-in-one!

how much, where is it, how do you use it?

it's free!

http://www.idealdvdcopy.com/dvd-to-iPod.htm

it's literally as simple as putting in a DVD, and clicking a button! :D

I used it--once. Any time I ever used it, my computer practically slowed to a screeching halt.

I have never had a problem with Limewire until I installed Service Pack 2 for XP. SP2 doesn't like it enough to let it work.

limewire gave me a nasty virus. I almost lost my computer! BTW I'm getting my first ipod, my rents are evil and are only allowing me to get a mini. Which gen is the best? What's a good price?

The mini has been out of production for awhile. Do you mean the nano? If so most prefer the 3rd gen. nano since it has a larger screen....

I got a 2GB generic brand "Digital MP4 Player" for my birthday a while ago, i only have like 500MB of music so its good for me, plus it can play movies and has an FM tuner, one thing Ipods are ALWAYS missing!

Oh and can we please not talk about downloading illegal "stuff" on here, if you want to know how to just use Google, same with ripping videos from Youtube, its all findable from Google (or whatever search engine you use).

One thing i will tell you how to do is convert videos, just search for "Mediacoder", it supports all sorts of formats, and it has built in converter extensions for things like Mobile phones, and Ipods, though i only condone the use of legally obtained videos (though that list gets smaller and smaller by the day).

It depends, is your iPod capable of running flash? Because that's what YouTube videos run on.

As, as far as I can tell, YouTube doesn't allow you to download videos.

From what i know Ipods can't play flash files (there are a few different flash files i think), you have to convert them to something the Ipod can play (see my other post).

Yes your right Shadowman, Youtube won't let you download videos of the site, you have to use programs to "rip them", if you use Firefox your in luck as there are a few add ons that will let you do just that, if not I'm sure there are programs out there that will rip videos from Youtube.
