New member's welcome? This is actually a thing? Alright then, well, I'll refer to myself as some guy sitting here. I don't know if I should call myself a Transformers fan, since I don't know what the requirements are. But yeah, I've been following TFW2005 (I know, how terrible of me) and Seibertron for years and decided to create an account in Seibertron. As for collecting, I'm only a high school senior (I like Transformers, but I'm too secretive to reveal it at school) and I don't have a supporting job, so I can only get a couple figures a year (even then, I feel like this is some kind of secret hobby). Usually, though, I often find myself a year late, for example, a specific figure I was looking for is no longer in stores. Anyway, enough about that, I'm mainly on Seibertron for some news and the gallery.

I think that describes a fan, if you like Transformers and enjoy the conversation. Welcome! I think many of us were in the same boat as you. I think, in some ways, being an adult collector makes having Transformers a little more accepting. I have some on my desk at work and no one gives me too much flak for it. (The Michael Bay movies might have helped too...)

Hopefully you enjoy your time here! I find this community quite enjoyable. :D

Oh, alright thanks. I'm still not sure how this forum works, but I reply to you with a quick reply, right? Moving on, yeah I notice how many people trash on the Michael Bay films. I can see why people hate them, but I think it's just another interpretation of Transformers from someone else's mind. Some fans hated the the Beast era, 2000 RiD reboot, Unicron Trilogy, etc. etc. I did watch Armada and Cybertron (I skipped Energon) when I was younger, but it was the 2007 Michael Bay movie that first got 10-year old me into Transformers. It was from there that I read the Ultimate Guide by Simon Furman and was opened to this world. As a result of that, I'm looking for the Dreamwave comics (I only managed to get Prime Directive issue 1 and the first 2 War Within issues).
And apparently, some collectors (specifically the "geewunners") think you have to be a fan by owning G1 figures. I managed to get a Commemorative Series Smokescreen, but I don't exactly have anywhere to put him (I freaked out when my brother took it). Still though, figure collecting (I don't know why it's difficult for me to utter the word "toy") has...I don't know how to explain it...caused me to be somewhat paranoid (btw, can't wait for generations Breakdown to be released, would also like to see a new Red Alert). I'm not sure if you understand, but back then, I always closed the window curtains, leaving my room dark. I tried displaying the figures I had, but you know, little brothers. Now I keep them high in my closet, and oftentimes, if I open my closet, I always look out the window or keep the curtain shut. I don't know, habits. But yeah, I joined this site because fans will know what I'm talking about.

Indeed, I have experience much as you have. I'm old enough now to use my son as an "excuse" to make purchases. And the Bay films, while many here will love them or hate them, seem to be a part of pop culture now, making Transformers a little more accepting. Certainly, no one here will judge.

Well, maybe Burn... :-s

But, back to that guy sitting there, the forums are pretty straight forward. I used the "Quote" button to get the above quotes as part of the post. Once you get used to the PHP environment, you may start to figure out the tags like quote,/quote for quoting other members, i,/i for italics, both in brackets [], and other things too. (If you quote my message, you can see how the opening and closing tags work within the forum.)

Have fun, but if you use emoticons too much, we might sick Blast Cannon on you... ;)

I don't judge. I selectively approve or disapprove depending on the day, the time, and how much caffeine I've had.

Hello! I've been a reader of this site for many years, and a few months ago I decided to sign up. I just now realized that there is a thread for new members, so I thought I'd say hi.

I've been a Transformers fan my entire life. My first Transformer was something from the 1985 line, not sure which one (I was 2 years old). I've been collecting them ever since.

Some additional background on me: I used to own a comic book store, and I host a podcast about comics, toy collecting, and movies (link in my profile if you're interested). I'm a huge fan of the IDW comics, especially More Than Meets the Eye.

Thanks for having me.

Make sure to check out the comics section when you can and let your speculations loose. :D

Welcome! :D

The IDW comics are awesome - they're what brought me back into the fandom after a lull that lasted for a few years. Do you have a toy collection as well?

Hi im Solus Prime (By The Way, that is just my username, you can just call me Ignacio)
Im new in the forums, but ive been reading Seibertron news since 2011, when I learn to understand english, and Im 14 years Old, sure many people would say that i like M. Bay's movies, but no, im really tired of their designs an also the :michaelbay: (you know about it)

I like a lot the transformers brand, since I was 7, and im a little bit of a figure collector, including lines like Classics, Prime, and the Unicron triology.

I hope my english is good btw, because im from Chile.

¡Saludos! :CON: :BOT:

Welcome to the forums, Ignacio. Your written English is better than a lot of the U.S. high school students that my girlfriend teaches.

I do! Most of it is packed away at the moment, but it's pretty sizable. According to the spreadsheet I keep (yeah, spreadsheet nerd here), I have about half of all US released Transformers. I also have a modest collection of 3rd party and some Takara releases as well, mostly Masterpieces.

I'm really loving the comics right now. I almost jumped off after All Hail Megatron, but I stuck with it and now it's really good, especially More than Meets the Eye.

Hey guys! Name is Matt, from a tiny mountain on Tennessee. I play guitar (Classic Rock, and some modern Rock...rarely country), and I obviously have a love for Transformers! I am 17 years old at the moment, and I am a Junior in High School right now as well. I might be going to basic training for the U.S. Army of this summer, and come back to finish my Senior year of High School. Weather I do go to the Army or not, my life goal is to join the T.B.I as a detective. A military background would most likely help me to enter employment in that field later on in life, which is why I might join the military...plus...I could possibly enter the military as a Cpl. At the moment, I drive a blue 1997 1500 extended cab Chevy truck, and currently work at Dairy Queen. Thanks for reading guys, and I hope to become friends with many of you!

Hello everyone! I'm a new member here, but I've been reading all the different Transformer news updates from the opening page for Seiberton.com ever since the middle of the first season of Beast Machines.

I would like to open my introduction on saying that my favorite Transformer cartoon was the original Transformers from 1984-1987. My first introduction to this cartoon was when I was three, during the last ten episodes of the second season.

I live in the western part of America in Prescott, Arizona. I've lived here for seven years and I moved here from Reno.

Hi to all!
I am an Italian Transformers fan, so my English couldn't be so good. Be patients with me.
I bought some Takara Tomy Masterpiece in the last years, but now I am wondering to purchase some old pieces, maybe MIB. One or two for year.
I join this forum looking for information about the old stuff.
My favourite character is Sideswipe, but I also love all the first 2 series Autobot ( except the orrible Cosmos), especially Optimus Prime and the Dinobot. I am not an huge fan of the third season of the G1 (all that poor Autobot killed in the movie makes me sad).

Someone can tell me if I can put my blog link as signature of the posts? It's a blog with some commercial banners and I imagine that this thing can go against some forum rule. i have look for an answer to this question around the blog but I don't find anithyng...

Greeting to all!
