It's a "have patience and give the site owner time to respond". You've been told this before. You're NOT being ignored, Ryan just has other priorities but he DOES read these threads.

How am I supposed to know the difference between "have patience" and "being ignored" if I don't even get a small "I'll get to it eventually" post? At least now I know he knows, but where was this three weeks ago?

If it's something I (or even Va'al) can address, I respond to it. If it's something that only Ryan can deal with it, I let him speak on his behalf. He's an incredibly busy man.

That in no way answers my question of how I'm supposed to know if it's "have patience" or "being ignored."

Sure, you could tell me to just assume he's read it, but that ain't my style. Assuming something is half-ass work. I'd rather come back, ask if that's a no, and hopefully get a definitive answer.

This isn't lack of patience, this is lack of response. It doesn't take a month to type a three or two letter word in a text box. You've told me now that he's read it and I hope he'll take into consideration, but it shouldn't have taken this long to let me know that.

It can take that long when you consider that there is an entire site being run by the same one individual, which includes upkeep, galleries, photography, debugging and a massive eBay store - plus the family life, with a recent new arrival and any other personal matter which may hinder the presence on the boards.

It may not take that much time to type three words in a text box, but there is a priority scale.
Again, please have patience, and Ryan/Seibertron will address your concerns.

Seibertron should have a game section. A page full of online, Transformers-related games. Before someone says, "What about the Heavy Metal War Forums?", the "game" is nothing but describing your fan-created Transformer. But the main point is, Seibertron should have a game section.

Guessing you've never actually made an effort to play HMW then if that's all you think it is.

On that note, I've not played the game myself in forever due to not having time and so on and so forth, but I remember way back when when I did play there seemed to be a whole lot more to the game than was actually explained by it, it felt like it would really benefit from some kind of a mini-wiki or something for the benefit of new players.
Obviously that would be a whole lot of work, hence this just just an 'idea to improve', although perhaps if it were open to user submissions it would be easier to do.

(I say all this fully aware that there could well already be such a wiki/equivalent that I've somehow managed to entirely miss ^^)

A big part of it was the forums which made it seem there was more to the game. We had a large very vocal player base so a lot of the newer players were just able to ask questions even though he have this.

I read it is already in the works. But here's some suggestions on a thread related to overseas retailers:

A sticky on online non domestic TF selling site

Must be at least 2 years in the market

Maybe add a thumbs up rating on the store of highly recommended

If there are negatives, post screen caps on unresolved or non customer friendly responses by said store to the mods first then let the mods post it like put a "at your own risk"

If someone asks a question on the store's policies, another poster can respond or for those who have difficulty in comprehension, explain it in a user friendly way of provide links to the store's policies

I think a link to a currency convertor tool would also be nice to sticky in the thread.

Here's a question. Does the Seibertron site currently have a mobile friendly version? If not, that may be something to consider in the future. Or maybe even its own app. :-?

Other board skins would be nice.
so would the option to display more posts per page
and block gifs in profile pics but not in threads

Not at present, but it's something that is on Ryans radar.

I have spaced out the smileys so you can see what I am writing:

: D gives me :D
: grin : gives me

That second one doesnt look like the one in the posting menu with the giant grin, it would be fun if it did.

That :P emoticon needs work, it doesnt look like a guy sticking his tongue out, and it doesnt look like the guy in the emoticon menu.

Is it possible for staff to credit 2 users with news credits? If not, that would be a fun option to look into.

You know what would be really cool? If on any gallery image where you see another figure alongside the gallery figure, there would be an indication as to who those other figures are, with a link to their galleries.

Sorry for all these posts, but I thought of another one: I would love to be able to search through the messages I recieved. Like have a search bar where you could enter some words found in the message or the name of the person sending you the message and then it filters out those that answer the criteria.

I dunno what the moderators opinion on this would be, but -

some kinda +\- thing for posts? Anonymous, obviously. Or a "give thanks" thing for interesting points in conversation ect. I often read posts and think "I agree with this", but dont like cluttering up the forums with quotes and a measly +1 as a comment.

It's definitely something I'd like to see implemented as well.

I like this idea.
