I present to you a slice of banana bread fresh from the toaster covered in peanut butter paired with black coffee.

Next level breakfast or fat ass breakfast?

I'm not a fan of Banana bread, but I like peanut butter on Bananas, so half approval?

Neither; first, use that bBanana bread as French toast. Then, you have next level breakfast.

I had some cold pepperoni pizza for lunch. It was delicious. I love cold pizza. Didn't even rile up my acid reflux. :D

I would say that pizza and fried chicken are equally good both hot and cold, but kinda meh at room temp.

I'd lump coffee in there but it's **** gross luke warm.

I can verify that everything Cary just said is 15,000% true.

I didn't take a picture, but I just finished up a 16oz medium rare Prime Rib, with mashed taters and a whole heap of steamed and buttered fresh veggies. Also, two schooners of Sam Adams to wash it all down.

My wife drove home, I'm not moving at all for the next 3 to 4 hours.

mmmmmmmmm, Prime rib

I got a tank of propane this weekend, so hopefully it warms up some this week so I can put together my grill so I can start grilling my meats!

Be a man and Grill while it’s snowing out. Conquer that weather!

It's good, but not earth stopping. Very scotch like.

Nope, just a Thursday (when I bought it). Our local liquor/wine/beer shop only got 6 bottles and this whisky only just became available in the states, so I jumped.

If it was a special occasion I'd get a scotch of 18 years or older, like my 40th.

Oban 14 is one of the best I've had lately. I like 'em peaty AF and Laphroaig is my brand of choice. Going to the distillery in May.

The flowers made me think it might be a special occasion, but I guess they just make the whiskey look more refined.

We'll really need to get together some time Cary, I think you could expand my whiskey horizons a lot

Nah the peonies were already there (thank the Mrs and for the idea).

I'd never say I'm a connoisseur, just a low budget appreciator. But any time. We can hit the local distilleries and brewers or hit the French Quarter in NOLA.

I'm not high strung, I'll take the low budget appreciator route.

I'll have to bring that Shot Glass you sent me a few years back too

No kid, you sip good whisky.

I'll allow ice or a splash of water as a matter of taste.

Ok maybe a little snobby. [-(

Is Bird Dog considered good whiskey? It's generally the cheaper type of Whiskey here, and I'm not really an expert on any level.

It's all a matter of tastes. Can't say I'm familiar. Sounds like a bourbon to me. If you can sip it, then it's good. If you want have to shoot it to make it go away and get drunk, then it's not good.
