In today´s class my teacher was talking about realtionships and talking about how fast we (the students) start a realtion, yaydada, the usual...

Then some smart@ss chick from my class says, "like Pedro?" (my name), bassicly telling that i´m a looser because i´m 20 and single. I swear that if she was a man, i would stand up and punched her in the middle of the class. Seriously, i´m getting tired of being made fun at.

Man I hate how people can act like that, its so unecesary and pointless. A reltionship is someting special and something you should go for, but god forbid your not with someone it's not the end of the freaking world. I had been single for about 2 years before I met my current Girl Friend (and had one 2 girl friends before that). Sure I tried to find some girls but it never worked out. But at the same time I had work and college going on so it wasn't the end of the world. Alone isn't a bad thing and love can take time. You just have to stay in there and it will happen.

I was 19 but once again who cares man, it shodulnt matter to people what age. There are different people and nobody is the same. I also know a friend from hishschool who is my age (21) and has 2 kids one of which is almost 4. Some people are just more cautious in what they do, and then there are those who will do anything that walks.

I'm not even 18! And the kid who said it couldn't've been older than 14. (Though he looked 12, probably hasn't even started puberty yet.)

I did. I said "I think it's adorable that they let sixth graders come to school with the Big Kids." Among other things.

Kid was a huge prick, though. But he was about as threatening as a kitten. He once stood up to me threateningly...and he was, like, a foot shorter than me. (I'm 5'8 1/2")

These topics always make my chuckle. I'm 21 and honestly have no need for a girlfriend at the moment. I'm an extremely private person and am really not ready to have a "ball and chain" attached to me. I enjoy having what little money I have and not having to worry about scrounging some reserves up to impress someone. Everyone my age seems to be in such a **** hurry to find someone and get hitched or screw like rabbits. Whatever happened to taking the time and finding someone who's personality and stuff compliment your own. Now it seems more like a race than anything.

Yeah, currently I'm single, a geek, 18, have very low self-esteem, and suffer from depression, and live a rather private. So relationships are basically out of the question but I've become very accustomed to my life of hermitage.

Maybe one day I'll stop being so self-loathing and look in to this whole social/dating scene but for right now I'll just stick to the few friends I have and be content.
