....for old times sake, you dig out your N64, pop in goldeneye (after blowing on it

), and fire it up..... Only to turn it off almost immediately because the graphics suck so bad.
Then get sad because you remember when this game first came out and how mind blowing awesome the graphics were way back when.
What makes you feel old?

I feel old when:
Anyone I meet is younger than my favourite video game.
I find gray hair in my beard.
I look at my cousin (a month younger than I, and going full-blown salt and pepper in the hair department)
I realize how long I've had some of my toys for.
I flirt with women in their 40s.
I flirt with women in their 20s.
... I'm sure there's more, but there's some right there.

Fair enough, though the point was to share your personal stories of being old.

When people here mention the Unicron Trilogy as the Transformers cartoons they watched as a kid.

Your local classic rock station stops playing songs from your parent's childhood
and starts playing songs from your childhood.
Ugh I can't read that small type letters any more.

I feel old when people look at the games I played as a kid, and dismiss them for not having modern graphics.

It's really only the shooters that bother me. I can still play Mariokart all day long, as well as most other games. The shooters though, I can't play the old ones now, the graphics just bug me too much.

Back in 2004 (Christmas Eve 2004 to be exact), I could brave a sardine can like conditions in a Christmas sale rush mob just to be able to pick up MP-01 from a specialty shop (amiami and hs) weren't accepting Credit cards back then, now, I can no longer tolerate mob like conditions just to shop.

I've come to the conclusion (As I mentioned in another thread a while back) that within the next couple of years, and with the site's minimum age of 13, someone will join the site who wasn't even born when I signed up here.

There is only one Red Dawn.

The Swayze one. Though I did enjoy the new one.

No. No it's not. No movie made after I was born is allowed to be a classic. This was the second or third video my mom and I ever rented from the video rental place shortly after it opened. This was a very big deal back in the eighties, so i remember it quite well.

Gonna have to disagree with you on that one, on the grounds that Ghostbusters came out after you were born. And also a big-ass list of other classic movies from the '80s and '90s that I can whip up in about five minutes.
