Hi I'm relatively new, and had uploaded an Armada Starscream avatar here last night. I logged on today and it is instead the one you see. What happened?

I had a Prime head taken from 1986 movie as my avatar. But after a while, it suddenly disappeared. Don't know why.
So i took a picture of my new Bumblebee instead. That's my new avatar. I hope there will be no possibility of duplicates with other members this time.

Haha yeah I don't know why, but I assume a higher up switched it. Doesn't matter though, cause I took a pic of my Starscream and am now using it.

It was an avatar I made based off this pic of Starscream.

The show? Nah. It had it's moments at the end, but no. I am a fan of his Armada design though.

Cool.
I'm more of an old school. G1 fan. I missed out on the newer series. Last i saw was The Movie 1986. I had no access to the shows during the 90s. The next one i encountered was already the Beast War seires. But wasn't able to start nor finish it.
Then comes the movie.
Story of my life.

I've only recently seen the first 3 episodes of Armada. The nice thing about it is that, the cartoon is accurate to the toy.

I wasn't born when the original series started, but I did watch reruns of it pretty early on.
I never got into the various '90s series either. Especially the Beast Wars one. I dont really know why.
I actually didn't think Armada was that bad, but then again I never saw the entire series from start to finish. Judging from the random episodes I saw I thought it was decent though. Yeah the designs are pretty faithful to the show, but the only Armada figures I have are Starscream and Thundercracker.

Are they both the same design? Repaint?

Oh yeah. Thundercracker is just a repaint alright. I think Skywarp is a little bit different though.

Different weapon? Modified wings? Like Classics Ramjet is to Classics Starscream?

I can't link you to the galleries here because my computer is acting up right now...
I was looking at them in the gallery, and it looks like these are the only minor variations of the Starscream mold I can find;
1. Skywarp has a 'horn' on his helmet, unlike Starscream/Thundercracker
2. Wings seem to be painted a little different, along with shoulder cannons
3. Skywarp has fans/vent looking things on his legs

Nice. At least not just pure repaint.

Would've been nice if I picked him up back then too. Oh well.
