Because of a brain injury I had when I was born, I have ADHD, and am impulsive, and thus am unable to drive.
What do I do?

First of all, in what type of area do you live? In the big city, suburbs, middle of nowhere? Depending on the country, Public Transportation is the best way to get around if you're unable to operate a vehicle on your own. Look into month or even year subscriptions if you want to get out of the house a lot.

If that's not an option, what medical restrictions can actually be put on you? Is driving totally ill-advised, even with someone next to you? Are you on any medication? When you see your doctor, be sure to ask what your options concerning driving are.

Use Uber, that's what everyone else is doing.

Do keep in mind Uber has been banned in some major cities due local taxi businesses protesting.

Maybe they live out in the country? I live in a really rural area where it's next to impossible to get an uber plus the few places you can in my state they are very unreliable. Hopefully that's not their case.
