Glad to hear you are rooting for the Cubbies. Like you, I also have more loyalties than to just one team. I also like the Tigers (I'm originally from the Detroit area), though while I have some great and cherished memories going to see the Tigers with my family, I just wasn't into baseball until I moved to Wrigleyville in 2002. Hard not to get into baseball during those years when living so close to Wrigley Field.
A Cubs vs Tigers in the world series game would be a dream come true, though I'd have to root for the Cubs. I'd like to see the Cubs get their revenge from the '45 World Series.
My loyalties are much more muddied when it comes to the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Bears. I root for both except for when its Lions vs Bears, then I root for the Lions. Lions football on Thanksgiving was a longstanding family tradition, plus I followed the Lions from long before moving to Chicago.
Great game last night. Nice to see the Cubbies tie it up. Was a little worried after they got shut out of the first game. Man Kluber is tough! Looking forward to seeing the game 4 rematch to see how they do then.
