In some offbeat, not technically Transformers related news, various Twitter accounts from across the globe have spotted very deliberate references and homages to Transformers in the new TV anime SSSS Gridman. Shattered Glass in particular gets the most nods, with much of the show's human cast reflecting design cues from Classics Cliffjumper (a key character in Fun Publications' initial Shattered Glass fiction), Sideswipe, Megatron, Optimus Prime, and even Thundercracker.
