The following is from Screenrant.

Above is a new photo from Iron Man showing Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark testing one of the gauntlets (gloves, for the uninitiated) of the Iron Man armor. That image is just full of fanboy-geek goodness as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks to Judy for the heads up.

Awesome. I hope this turns out to be a great movie. Not that I'm a huge fan of Iron Man, or know much about him. I only found out recently that he's got bionic parts and such. I just figured it was a suit.
RDJ does look kind of Backstreet-Boy-ish, though. I think it's the goatee. He needs to lose that but keep the mustache.

Wow, not only does he actually look the part, but this looks like they put a hell of a lot of work into it.
This might just be the next Spider-Man.

I hope it will be better than Spiderman, and from this picture, I see a bright future for comic-movies.
Can't wait for crossover movies.

Yeah, no kidding. Imagine something on the scale of Secret Wars in a movie? I mean why not, they've made most of the major characters in the movies so far. Lord of the Rings was three hours, imagine three hours of super heroes and villains beating the $#!t out of each other.

That'd be bad ass but very expensive. Yet I still demand it. So long as Spidey isn't Emo, the X-Men don't dissapoint me, and DD isn't Ben Affleck I'm down.

What if they made crossover of Iron Man and The Hulk?

Then Hulk had better pop the top and chug down Stark.
Anyhoo, Stark bashing aside. Not a fan of RDJ but damn he's got the Tony Stark look down good.
And while i'm also not a fan of Tony Stark, the more I see of this movie the more excited I get. It looks to be shaping up to be the best adaption yet.

I hope he's an arrogent, womanising, alcoholic prick like in the comics. But I doubt they'll make him go that route, to be honest I can see them watering him down and glossing over that aspect of the canon to appeal to the little kiddies and parents.

Don't count on it being watered down. Having talked with Favreau on his Myspace board a few times, he is definitely staying true to character. He's leaving out the alcoholism for this movie to concentrate on the origin of the character first. Then he'll bring it into future movies.

I've heard "Rumors" of a Justice League movie.
Seriously, why not? We've already got very good actors for Batman and Superman, Wonder Woman is supposed to be getting a movie, same with Green Lantern. Throw in a good Flash movie, and we've got a good team-up.

Now that is funny. I heard there will be a new Flash movie!

Ok, he looks the part. I was worried he'd be all wrong for Tony Stark/Iron Man. And being a HUGE Iron Man fan, I did not wanna see this go the way of Hulk or Spider Man,successful, but lacking any real substance, IMHO. Let's just hope he acts the part well, like Nick Cage did for Ghost Rider, not saying the movie was great, it was flawed but I liked it.

That's fine. Tony didn't start his alchohalism until later anywhos. But from the looks of it, it seems more like an action/Bond/Mission Impossbile movie then superhero which is a DEFINATE good thing. I have full faith in RDJ, and the armor looks great1 (anyone seen the Mk.I and Mk. V armors? They look fantastic!)
