I'm not aware of there being any partnership between Seibertron and PayPal's Honey browser extension, but it appears there doesn't necessarily have to be any affiliation for Honey to poach an affiliate token/URL for itself (and thereby claim the commission).

Just thought I should give a heads-up in case anyone here downloaded Honey.

I heard about it. Glad I never got into it.

Makes me think other coupon sites might be doing the same thing.

I installed it years ago, tried it a few times, it never found anything, and the one time it did the coupon was worse than what I was going to get via the YouTube referral. So I removed it.

Glad I wasn't crazy or unlucky and it really was snake oil.
