Finally, after 3 years of busting my butt at Fedex Ground, I am on my way out the door. It's been a long road, whether it be loading trailers, sorting boxes, or unloading packages, I have done it. Now I can close this chapter of my life and move on. The best part about this is that I will actually be receiving training that pertains to my college major: Homeland Security and Public Safety.

Unfortunately, it is the bottom rung of the ladder, a mere Security Guard. However, everyone has to start somewhere.

Of course, going to full time allow me a chance to actually work 40 hours a week now, and plenty of opportunities for over-time.

So with my new and improved income, I'll actually be able to do some fun stuff besides Botcon for a change AND start paying my student loans back. :grin:

Hell, I might even make it to Wizardworld in Chicago.... :-?
