I heard about it about a year ago. And it was slated for Fall 2007 back then.

Been longer than that. This was originally slated as SpaceBalls III: The search for 2, but got pushed back so far they decided to try a series instead.

and for the record, I just have to find a way to use that mini Dark Helmet drawing in a sig.

This reeks of awesomeness. Unfortunately I don't have a high speed net connection so d/ling eps is impossible.

So find a friend who does and have them download it for you, or if they're not close, have 'em post it to you.

After all, it's not like any network in Australia is going to pick this up. :?

Same here.

I was all excited and happy when I first read about it

Then I realise that I'm stuck on stupid dial up so I might as well forget about it :-x

Or Fox 8. However both will take forever to pick it up, and that's provided some free-to-air network doesn't decide to pick it up first.

Yeah, go the download option. Maybe then Australian networks will take notice of why we're all doing it.

Looks cool, it's just not going to be the same without John Candy, though. Shame.

Have him with the "I am your father's ... etc" line.

I wonder if all of the surviving actor's of the film will provide their voices and who will be Barf.

No they rather waste my taxes on crap like Sea Patrol or putting up crap with the fathers of women bashers (you know who Im referring to right?) as the host. Actually Dazza, it's easier to wait until it's on dvd. I can order off the net. Ahh Bopo(pre-paid credit card that you top with your own money and control the amount on the card) card you make my on-line shopping a reality.

HEY! It has potential ... it just needs to be made by someone other than Channel 9.

Then again, I grew up with Patrol Boat so i'm probably expecting that.

Hail Skroob indeed.

I sure hope this will be good. I mean you can't top the original classic, but it would be nice to have a close runner up.

"Man, we ain't found sh*t!"
