:BOT: Last night I got back home from Comic-Con, it was a short trip but I had tons of fun.

Right off the bat, I couldn't get some exclusives like a Watchmen poster of the super exclusive 300 DVD set :(

But I got a ton of sketches done...

Spidey by Tom Beland. Insanely fun to talk to.
Image

David Mack did a quick drawing for me.
Image

The Astonishing Wolfman by Jason Howard
Image

Mini-Daredevil by Chris Giarusso!
Image

Snake-Eyes by Tim Seeley
Image

A stunning Superman sketch by Ivan Reis. Green Lantern's great... but I miss his Action Comics stuff. Awesome all around.
Image

I didn't have a copy of Spidey Loves Mary Jane on me but Sean McKeever did a bad sketch for me LoL
Image

Walking Dead's Charlie Adlard didn't do a zombie sketch... he did a friggin portrait! It's gruesome. It's gorgeous.
Image

Duke by Josh Blaylock. Another situation where I wish I had his comics on me.
Image

Ben Templesmith doing what he does best :)
Image

As soon as I saw Michael Gaydos (along with Ben Templesmith) at the Fox Atomic booth, I immediately though "I need a Jessica Jones!"
Image

Savage Dragon by Erik Larsen
Image

Dead West's Rob G drawing the title character (essentially The Man With No Name)
Image

lilformers.com's Matt Moylan drawing Optimus Prime. Moylan's online strip is awesome if you're a Transformers fan.
Image

Invincible by Ryan Ottley! Hands down the best looking sketch I have and I'm truely happy to have it...
Image

Though one page takes the cake. I saw Paul Dini at the DC booth and I was kicking myself I didn't have Detective Comics or the Batman DVDs on me (not enough time to run to the car). So I settle on getting a signature in my sketchbook which I was perfectly happy with. But a minute later Bruce Timm walks up behind me!!! Even though he didn't have a booth he was more than happy to do a super quick sketch...
Image

Since I had to leave early I didn't have time to get sketches by Phil Noto (I'd ask for Scarlett), Rob Liefeld (Captain America!), Lenil Yu (couldn't decide) or Alex Maleev (Elektra for sure). Oddly enough, even though I'm a Marvel guy I spent most my time at DC. Go figure.

I'm a bit wiped, but I'm sending Ryan tons of pictures to add to the site.

Next time I'll have to post the autograph I got from Sgt. Slaughter (yes, Sgt. Slaughter). And the best one of the bunch... NEIL GAIMAN.

I'm one happy fanboy. :CON:

If you shook hands with Bruce Timm, I want to buy your hand.

A peek at the autographs that I got...

Gabriel Benson of The Ballad of Sleeping Beauty.
Image

Frank Cho didn't do any sketches during the week but he was selling his art book. Pretty neat!
Image

Eric Powell with The Goon doodle!
Image

Comic-Con exclusive GI Joe playing cards with Sgt. Slaughter autograph! Slaughter still looks like he can kick ass. (And his card was not part of the deck, it was exclusively given away at the signing)
Image

Robert Kirkman's signature in Marvel Zombies.
Image

Robert & Charlie Adlard signing The Walking Dead.
Image

This is not from Comic-Con but I had to share this autograph from a few months ago. Can you tell I'm a Kirkman fan?
Image

Geoff Johns! I really wished I could get Adam Kubert and Richard Donner to sign this.
Image

Greg Rucka signing my favorite book of his. The amazing Batman/Huntress: Cry for Blood (essentially The Question/Huntress). This book made me love The Question.
Image

And The Holy Grail for me: Neil Gaiman signing Sandman: Dream Country! Brian K. Vaughn claims that Neil gives everyone an unique piece of wisdom for writing. He simply told me "If you start something, finish it." And I walked away in awe & wonder...

We have a set of sorts. Tim Seeley was here on FREE COMIC BOOK DAY, and drew me a nice Firefly profile.

Cool collections of drawings, and sigs.

I didn't realize you were such a comic fanboy!

Well, it's hard to know everything about someone. I guess I've been caught up as you being the movie man, not the comic coniseur.
