The best computer deal EV4R

I have a pretty poopy computer. It's a custom built PoS, 640gB of RAM, a 16-bit graphics card, so on and so on. The only nice things are the 1.8GHz processor, and the 120gB hard drive.

I go up to my family's old vacation house, for my Aunt's wedding. (it's in Manistee County, Michigan. A town called Arcadia. It's very important to everyone on my dad's side of the family)

I noticed my grandpa had a new computer. It was nice. The brand was eMachines (Which I'd never heard of), and it had a nice black and silver case.

I look at the desktop, and notice--Holy Hell!--He's running Vista! I try to look at th specs, but I wasn't sure where to find them. I was too busy looking at the prettiness

I talk to my grandpa about it. I tell him that it's the nice new thing. He said he hates it. Get this: It's because he can't run MSN Online Chess, his all-time favorite game.

The next day, my dad pulls me aside, telling me he wants to tell me something. He takes me to my grandpa, who says he wants to TRADE COMPUTERS.

So, next time I go to Arcadia, I take up my formatted, computer, with Windows XP put on there nicely. (Speaking of, Tweezy, I need your XP Install Disk) And I get a computer that could run any game I so choose.

Here's what I assume is the specs:

Man my Granddad hates Computers, but that must be the biggest rip-off ever to happen to a granddad!

Just so everyone knows, HE made the deal. He knows my computer is crap next to his, but he went through with it anyway.

Hell, I didn't even negotiate. He said "I want to trade computers," and I said "Yes! I love you, grandpa!"

(Behold, for I can now Love.)

All I really need is a new monitor. Mine is nice, but it has a huge section where the LCD leaked. It's more annoying than harmful, but I need a new monitor anyway.

I know he made the deal was just pulling your leg!
Besides, he may have planed it all along!

Seems the Shadowman got lucky this time around. If this trend continues I might have to take measures *sharpens knife*

Never heard of eMachines?

That brand name is like trace amounts of urine on free peanuts at the bar. It's everywhere.

Not all games are compatible with Vista.

Don't bother arguing with me, i've been running Vista since it came out and i've encountered games that don't run.

Dawn of War : Dark Crusade!

Just not Dawn of War and the first add-on. Dark Crusade can be run seperately and you can easily unlock the other races.

Also Age of Empires 3, but it sucks.

It is hard to buy older games though as you run the risk of them not running but there are sites out there that list which ones are compatible and which ones aren't.
