web help

I'm a co-leadeer of an xbox live gaming community and we just got a fresh start with a new name and site. I'm in the process of setting everything up how I'd like it but I'm having trouble finding a good layout and theme for it instead of the generic ones provided by the web service.
Most I find are for sale and I really don't have the money for that right now lol, job might pay off sooner or later though. Clanthemes.co.uk had some nice stuff as well as php-nuke.org but all were for like $15 or more.
If possible I'm looking for something that has either a really cool layout or is themed like war/Battlefield(without directly saying Battlefield) because the clan is called Fortunes of War.
I've also been looking to put in a clan roster but no luck finding one of those either. I had an arcade I wanted to install on a previous site but that was a failed project but I think now I'd be able to do it no problem.
Any help appreciated.
