I have no proof but I saw the comercial for it on Cartoon Network a few days ago. I was quite surprised and intrigued

Some kids show gets a live action movie after, what, three years? And no one has made a live-action Mega Man, a series lasting more than twenty.

I want a cool, action-packed movie about the Blue Bomber, damn it!

Ben 10 is a really crappy cartoon. This better not be a theatrical release.

Yeah it sucks balls. I feckin' hate that show. Ben 10 is nothing more then a ripoff of Dial H for Hero with a set limit. And the setup for the show couldn't beat a dead horse anymore then it already has. A 10 year old kid named Ben Tenison finds an alien device that lets him turn into 10 different aliens. Lame.

But a live action Mega Man movie would kick all kinds of ass. The only problem is what game's charector's to use for the "bosses". My favorite games of the original series were 2 and 3. But I think that if they made a live action Mega Man movie Proto Man would have to at least cameo in the first one. Then he'd be in the second fighting his brother, and at the end of the second movie Wily's Penultimate robot Bass emerges and engages Mega Man, then the credits before the fight starts.

So were the original Transformers, Beast Wars, Batman the Animated Series, Justice League, JLU, and the 90's X-Men cartoon amoung others. The only difference between those and Ben 10 is that it was decided that just because they were for kids they didn't feel the need to have poopy writing.

Back on topic, from what I've seen of the show it could make an entertaining movie, albiet one that's likely going Straight-To-DVD. Also, I'm down with Mega Man on the big screen, too. Base it largely off the second and third games, and it would be beyond awesome!

I would've had the third revolve around trying to stop a certain Final Creation, Zero. Tie that into a trilogy for Mega Man X.

And for God's Sake, give us some closure on what happened to Mega Man, Proto-Man, Roll, Duo, Bass, Rush, and everyone else!

I'm with you there; that always bugged me about the X series not knowing if Mega and X were the same 'bot or what. More than likely, like you mentioned before a few times, Zero probably destroyed the original MM, Proto Man and all the others. Still, I'd love to know for sure, and the big screen would be perfect for such a story.

Well, in Maverick Hunter X, it showed Dr. Light building X, so he's probably not the same as the original Mega Man. But some closure would be nice.

If it was a movie, November 2007 seems really really soon to just now start seeing anything about it.

As for the cartoon, it's not bad, some of the aliens he turn into a pretty neat, and it is way more than 10 aliens now.

In the cartoon movie, he got some alien that was essentially Ultraman, which was a nice little homage I thought.

But in all honesty, why do live action? They had a lot more freedom with animated. But then Cartoon Network was never one for making brilliant decisions.
