Dr. Strange

I rented the film tonight, seeing as how, after the two Hellboy animated movies, I've seen just how crappy the Marvel ones are.

So I gave it a shot, the story wasn't bad, the movie was enjoyable. But it's the usual Marvel animated movie crap art. A lot of animation screw-ups, which I've come to expect from Marvel films thus far.

But it is worth watching, at least once.

I wonder what their target audience is. I actually really enjoyed the movie. The animation was great I thought. My wife also liked the movie, saying she liked this style of animation much better than the popular "anime" and related styles. I watched the preview of "Avengers Reborn" which really makes me upset; a futuristic ,teen-age Avengers group? You've GOT to be kidding me...

I don't know that I'll watch it, but when I first saw the preview, I was tired and wondering why Dr. Orpheus had his own movie. . . .

You know most of these movies pop up on Cartoon network for 1 day. some I'm keeping my scanners peeled before I decide to rent.

I dunno, this movie had an awful lot of death, violence and the like. I don't think Cartoon Network would show it, unless it was an adult Swim, or Pre-Adult Swim showing.

That last Ultimate Avengers was kind of bloody, and that Stan Lee movie Condor while lame as hell had alot of mature laguage so I wouldn't be surprised. Im good at catching these things so If it comes on I'll let everyone know. Just keep and Eye on fridays at 8 or 9.

I just finished watching it, and rather enjoyed it. I am not looking forward to Avengers Reborn. I think it will be a waste.
