This past weekend I was flipping through cable and came across one of those “have to watch” movies and it got me thinking about my favorite moves.
You know, movies you have to watch when you come across them while channel surfing, movies that you can pop the DVD in and watch over and over or movies that you can watch over an over in theaters..
After analyzing this I came across my true favorite top 15 movies
1) Full Metal Jacket
2) The Empire Strikes Back
3) Star Wars
4) Jurassic Park
5) Serenity
6) The Postman
7) The Incredibles
8 ) Star Trek 2 The Wrath Of Kahn
9) Return of the Jedi
10) My Fair Lady
11) The Lion King
12) The Goodbye Girl
13) Lake Placid
14) True Lies
15) Transformers The Movie(1986)
It i not necessary but here are the movies to round out my top 20.
16) Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
17) The Truman Show
18) Raiders Of The Lost Ark
19) Independence Day
20) Saving Private Ryan
*EDIT*
I edited the title because it is tough coming up with 15 since there are so many good movies out there that are multi watchable..

Incredibly under-rated movie. Love it.
I've noticed I seem to be the only person who prefers the first "Terminator" film to the second. Why is that? I mean, I look at T1 admiringly from the film-making point of view as well as it being my favourite film of all time purely as a film to watch (if ANY of that makes sense, I'll be surprised), whereas T2 seems too high-faluting for my tastes, and smacks of "we've gotta top the last one, oh yeah". Plus, I found it
overly implausible. There's a limit to what I'll accept. Time travel? Sure, timespace is a medium to be bent like any other. Machine rule? A genuine fear of mine. Self-replicating machinery? Possible with
today's technology. Liquid metal able to reform itself, and function as an organism? Nope.

Because you wasted 3 hours of your life watching it?
Just kidding!!!! I mentioned before how I really liked this movie when it first came out, until I came to the realization as how contrived it all was.
Me, Grimlock! wrote:Garr! I totally forgot this one. Definitely up there.
Yeah, ijt's an oldie but goodie. It one of those only movies that I've seen about a hundred times, but I can still get a laugh out of it. It's timeless.
"Next time someone asks you if you're a god, you say YES!"
Classic!
There are a few others that people have listed that I've considered, but they're more runners up. Like, American History X (great movie), and Mallrats.
