Ok, someone from Chicago had to start a new one of these.

I still think the Bears will win by a touchdown.

This is the first super bowl in years that I will not be watching at least part of. I dislike the Bears, a lot.

But the Colts? I despise them.

So here's hoping Chicago will kick their ass.

I will watch the game because I enjoy the game even if I dislike the teams partisipating. But for most of it I plan on mailing several protest letters to the NFL For putting on another potentially horrid half time line up.

Can someone, probably Ryan, change the front page Bears link to this thread? It's still set for the old thread that was deleted in the incident last week.

Sorry Chi-towners, but I'll be in house full of Bears fans, so I'll have to cheer for the Colts. :P

I tend to have that effect on people.

I'm surprised Ryan hasn't showed up to root for the bears

I'm not gonna re-type what I said in the old thread, so I'll sum up: Bears' defense stop Colts' offense enough and Bears win by at least a field goal, by a touchdown at the most.

I'm sure he'll be here once he gets done working on the code for the forum.

Actually, with Prince performing, I think the Ground Keeper's will lose with all the garbage thrown onto the field at half time.... :P

Whichever team shows up to play a complete game will win this one. Both have been notoriously bad at doing that this season.

Prince, Billy Joel set to sing at Super Bowl

By Larry Fine

MIAMI (Reuters) - Prince let his music do the talking on Thursday when he faced the media at a news conference covering Sunday's Super Bowl halftime show.

The singer, clad in a tunic-style orange jump suit, eschewed questions about his Super set, instead launching into a pulsating three-song performance to preview what should be a high-energy break from the NFL championship game.

The pre-game entertainment will be provided by local pop singer Gloria Estefan and the acrobatic troupe Cirque du Soleil, while Billy Joel will sing the National Anthem .

"I think people have always recognized that (the Super Bowl) is a form of entertainment," said Joel, who like Prince has won six Grammys and is a member of the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.

"It is the biggest television day of the year."

Last season's Super Bowl was again the top-rated U.S. telecast of the year, watched by 141 million in the United States, according to the NFL.

Around the world, 54 broadcasters will televise Sunday's game to 232 countries and territories in 33 languages.

Joel will become the first person to sing the National Anthem twice at a Super Bowl, previously doing the honors at Super Bowl XXIII also in Miami.

I dunno but for some reason this is looking worse and worse every day. Time for me to summon "SUPERBOWL MAN" Capable of fixing even the worst Super Bowl Entertainment disasters with a single charge to PPV's Underwear Bowl.

Yes I totally agree on this. There will be a lot of pressure on Grossman for this win so I hope the Bears start off strong.

The first 10 minutes should tell us which Grossman came to play.

I normally couldn't care less about sports.

A bunch of over-paid re-re's slapping each others arses, wasting their money on cars and hoes until an injury makes them rely on their intelligence and expertise... whoring themselves out to try and make a tax payment on their estates.

But... Da' Bears will take out the My Little Ponies faster than ATHF took out Boston wednesday morning.
