I just bought a new laptop with windows vista installed. I transfered a whole whack of files from my old computer with windows xp, and thought everything went smooth. but I am incountering an unexpected difficulty. none of my avi video files seem to be working. I get audio, but no video. I downloaded some of the standards, like divx and xvid codecs, but dont seem to be helping. is there any one i am forgetting, or is this going to be a major problem?

Just use VLC media player.
Plays everything...pretty much.

and if you're having troubles having it work on Vista, then read this and that should fix it all up.
