If I may make a suggestion (since I cannot find any suggestions making threads/forums), I wondered if you would add a thread/forum that allows people to post their "Introduction" posts/threads in order for the other members to know them better. I know this might sound new and totally improbable, but I hope you would take this into consideration. Thank you.

Hi, Welcome to seibertron, where we weed out the thin armored bots. Have fun, be nice, and have some thick thick skin, cuz there are a whole lot of pricks on the internet.

While that would be kinda cool I guess.

Usually people just post in the forum they will most likely visit most.

HMW players post more in the HMW forum

and artists and what not post more in the art forum

There are a few welcome threads in both of them.

Yeah, it is just that I find it rather common in other sites. Might make the community much more, warmer, eh?

I dont know, i think community is very warm-and i gotta say very few pricks compared to most sites. Its good

Personnally i like the individual introductions, like sin said it mkaes it easier for people to converse in the forum the like most-and it gives people the option to post

Yeah, that is why a Welcoming Forum would be great! So that people can post their own intro-threads in it (it would get messy if people just randomly post their intro-threads in the General forum).

It hasn't been done because it makes sense. On one forum that I post at, they have a "stickied" topic for people to introduce themselves, and everyone else can chit-chat if they want. It's a good idea... I like your idea, and I think I had suggested something like it long ago. Making suggestions around here is like talking to a wall, though. Just look at the problem reporting thread. I can't complain too much though, because overall this site runs well, and at least the people are generally nice. I just block lots of images here since it takes forever to load a page...
