31 years is not all that long...

And be careful Americans, the Australian and New Zealand Dollars are catching up to you now too...

That sucks, used to go up to the Casino in Niagara and enjoy playing for a long time with american bucks.

But it is a sign of the times. Our currency, just like our world image, is rapidly plummeting. Most of it in... oh say... the last 7 years or so. :-?

This is horrible. Well, its great if you're buying from the US, but man, Canada is gonna suffer alot from this, if it does last a little.

They say that the dollar will go back under the 95 cents in the next months, and might continue to drop a little. I hope it will. I will enjoy my shopping spree, but overall, this is not a good thing for Canadaif it does last for too long.

The US dollar is suffering massively lately. Their stock market is truly fooked.

Luckily, we Brits have HM Royal bank to support us.

We are worth two of any of your dollars!

Congrats Canada! Enjoy it while it lasts, cos the US will recover eventually. Either that or implode altogether :-?

If it hurts more, deluxes here are only 9.99 at Walmart and Target, it's only places like Kohls that they cost 12.

Because historically Canada has had a crash after their dollar equals the US's.

As an American I would say no to this, don't make Canada boring. It's a fun place to go to and I don't want that to change.

hahaha, go Canada! I the only one thinks it might soon be more costly for the US to print money than what it is actually worth? Yes, I mock ye with yer worthless dubloons. That's what ye get when ye put men on coins.

Nah, in all honesty, it is sad for you Americans that your currency is losing value like a car in a demolition derby, but it certainly is good for any of us in other nations with stronger currency who want to buy all the cool stuff you guys have easy access to on a daily basis. And besides, the international value of ones' currency only really matters when travelling abroad and changing money to another denomination.
