I just registered and I just have a few questions.

I've observed that there are ratings on this site with regard to specific age-sensitive content. I've also noticed that there is an artistic forum for fan creations. I was just wondering:

1) What kind of content is definitely not allowed
2) What file formats are acceptable, including file size limitations
3) Whether there are any hosting sites frowned upon in general that one might choose to use when providing links to their creations
And 4) whether audio files are an appropriate sort of thing to be shared in that forum.

I ask this because, for camp and comic value, I recorded a song in which Optimus Prime (or my crude attempt at mimicking him, at least,) is a "gangsta rapper" and "busts a rhyme." Lol. I know how ridiculous that sounds, and I'm by no means a professional musician (or even a skilled hobbyist,) but I would still like to share it for laughs if possible. It's clean as far as suggestive or adult content, but it does contain profanity (the "F" word is used several times.) Half of the comedy comes from the fact that that is so "un-me," which won't translate since no one here knows me, but half of it stems from the fact that... well... it's Prime gettin' down. LOL.

I just wanted to know what was permissible before sharing it, or whether I even should. Thanks a lot!

The F-word is DEFINITELY not allowed. Nudity isn't either. As for hosting sites, I don't think there are any that are frowned-upon. I don't know much about file types, but I think .bmp isn't allowed. I use .gif and others use .jpg, so those aren't a problem. I hope that helps.

Ah - I'll have to blank out a few words lol. I can do that, though. Thank-you for your assistance.

EDIT: By the way, just so there's no confusion, by the "F" word, I mean the short one - not the slur. I would never use the latter, even in jest.

However tyou're clear to use damn, ****, or hell. as long as you:
1. Don't over use them
2. Don't use them in a flame!
EDIT: as a matter of fact, don't flame at all. Flaming is a very good way to get a mood really really angry at you really really quick!

As for swearing, as long as it's not used AT someone, you can swear. Some words are blocked out, including the F-Word.

For attaching files to your post (Uploading them directly from your hard drive) the limits are 256 KB, and the allowed filetypes are gif, jpeg, jpg, png, tga, and tif. If you're linking to another site for a picture, there are no limits, though.

Nudity: NOOOOO. That's a little blatantly obvious.

Also, what is the short F-Word? I can't think of any words starting with "F" that would be suggestive, save The Queen Mother of All Swear Words.

It's auto-censored but if you really feel the need to say it you can substitute letters eg. fuStupd auto-censor won't beat me
If you want to link to content with foul lanuage you don't have to edit it first just post a little warning to say it contains mature cntent or whatever.

I tend to say bloody a bit. bugger is also ok, again so long as its not directed at someone!
