An 'ol tradition of mine, I seem to start this thread every year...

Alright, the time is fast approaching and my costume is almost done (I've commissioned a friend to make me a wolf costume, very simple - two ears and a tail, I'll post pics when it's done), and alot of Halloween parties will be happening this coming week and weekend.

So, what's your costume this year? Got any pics to share? Do you even have a costume this year?

I could VERY easily go as Silent Bob. I have the coat, I have the raggedy clothes, the long hair, the hat. I even shaved my goatee so I could try a more full beard. (Or at least a badass stubble)

However, me and Tweezy are going to be Jay and Silent Bob next year. He's growing his hair out, and we're teaming up (Again!) for some action packed slacking.

Last year was a Wicked (skeletal) Jester. This year my family's going in theme to a family party. My dad's going as a Spartan, my mom's going as Leonidas's wife, and I'm going as one of the immortals.

I always prefer the simple tattered robe with hood. nothing more scary than a cult leader.

For halloween night I am doing the Anakin Vader (of course in the pix below I am in the Anakin gear)



For the 6 troops this weekend I am alternating in my Anakin, Imperial Officer, Imperial Gunner and Death Star Trooper suits..

This year I am going to be The Wettening, arch-nemesis of my old stand-by costume, Corrugated Man.

I'm cheap and busy so this year, I'll be Epic Fail Guy.

Well how else is he supposed to pull it off? It's not his fault that he wasn't born black, and that shouldn't prevent him from dressing up as an African American icon.

Also I've never heard anything about it being racist.


I was going to dress up as Nightcrawler again, but it sounds like our schedule will be hectic at best, so I really don't care to mess with the face paint, hair die, and ears.

I guess I've still got time to find a new pair of trousers for my Indiana Jones costume.

Either that or I could scrap together my rennfair outfit - but I don't think they'd appreciate me walking around downtown with that much weaponry.

My crew and I are going as the Justice League.

I'm going to be the Green Lantern, but I'm going to be Kyle Rayner instead of John Stewart. Only because it's easier to tuck my hair under a wig than pretend to have a buzz cut

Funnest part is that we're half going as superheroes, half going as trannies!! Guys are the girl characters (except for superman) and girls are going as the dudes. The flash costume I made for my friend is AMAZING.

Well two years ago I went as Space Ghost, last year I went as Ironman and on St. Patricks day this past year for our annual pub crawl I went as the Pope. This year I am probably going as a winged demon. Bought a wing set that expands out to 8 feet.

Im too miserable to get invited to any parties... so i cut a couple of Jack 'o Lanterns today to help me get in the mood.

Those pumpkins look great Whitestorm! I feel your pain in a way. None of my friends have mentioned anything to me about what they're doing for Halloween. I'm either going with my roommate (who is a friend, lol) and his friends out to a bar Wednesday night, or I'm going solo to this club I've been to lots of times before.

I have my own hair dyed up like Rogue's, but it's not long enough yet. I just got my wig in the mail. I need to get it fixed up at the wig store in town so it looks a bit better.



I have everything except the bracelets done. I just need to put a backing on the choker and bracelets (scratchy material). I've only had this idea and bits put together for the past two years!

The town of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware has an annual “Sea Witch” festival which is going on this weekend. Every year they have a pet parade on the last day. People dress their pets up and line up on the boardwalk. A good friend of mine has 3 Chihuahuas and he has been doing the parade for many years… My Daughter, my Partner, and I usually join in the fun and dress up according to the theme… We have become pretty good at “Pimpin” out a shopping cart to make a pretty sweet float. This year the theme is “Tails from the crypt” (as in dog tails) the dogs will be dressed up with bat wings and we are all wearing skeleton costumes. Here is what our float looks like… Remember the base is an ordinary shopping cart. Last year we turned a shopping cart into a boat and we were pirates… Enjoy the pictures… I’ll add more after the parade.
