Hearing the word "frack" makes me vomit in disgust and the contempt I have for this show.

I'm not one to not watch something for such a dumb reason as them using psuedo-swearwords.

But if they cut out "frack" "fracker" "motherfracker" "frack me sideways" and all the other crap. The show would be a lot more watchable in my eyes.

I have been saying Frac since I first Starbuck say it in 1978

Why does one word bother you so badly

You know they can't use the other "F" word

Because they bolderize it and try to pussyfoot around the issue. Just say it. Doesn't matter if the FCC bleeps it. We all know what the producers want them to say, so just say it. In a related issue:

Well, the scenes are done great. It's just that word. It sounds so friggin' ridiculous. It sounded ridiculous in the old show, and it still sounds ridiculous now.

Especially since the new BSG is supposed to be this whole serious space drama, then they go and say "frac" and mess it all up.

They might as well just say "golly-gee willikers."

Sure, they said it in the old show. But then, not everything was brought over from the old show. Thank God for that.

The word "frac" should have remained with the old show, and disappeared into obscurity.

This is all a bunch of Felgercarb.

Get the frack (that is the correct spelling) over it and enjoy the show.

They also don't use "pogees" either.

Though it was rarely used in the original to begin with.

It was fun to see the classic Cylons, Raiders, and Vipers back in action but the problems that I have with it are:

1) That blasted shakey cam during the action secens makes it harder than to follow and understand the action.

2) The Clyon vision during the end of part 4 seemed out of place.

Also am I the only BSG fan that feels like some of the plot is based off the classic BSG episode "Gun on Ice Planet Zero"?

It could of been based on that episode

OBTW the Vipers here are the same in the current show

It must be that look more shiny to me than the current ones.

Viper MkI from the Original Series.
NOTE: In the Re-imagined Series, if one looks fast enough, one could be seen in the "Museum" on board the Galactica during the miniseries along with a Land Ram and an original Cylon Raider.

When I was downloading the first two I saw that someone was planning to put them together for one big torrent. But that was on Demonoid and that's now gone bye byes.

But time to hunt down a torrent to watch these.
