Facehuggers will attach to anything, and the Xenomorph that comes out will have properties of whatever it was inserted into.

So, when a chestburster comes out of a Predator, it would be a vicious, bloodthirsty, muscle-bound killing machine, and look kind of like a Predator.

:-B

This movie is going to be so much fun to watch. Much more so than AvP.

This will be the best cristmes ever!

I mean whats better than watching two blood thirsty space monsters kill each other and humans around them?

AVP was fun, but AVPR will be insane!

OOh-er. I think the design's deviated too much. You can't exactly say that an Alien looks human, can you? Nor can you say that the supposed 'dog' or 'bull' alien looked much like either.

I think its sad Alien's franchise has been dragged down so much. :(

It's not supposed to look human. It's a Predator/Alien hybrid.

And I think his look rocks. That is by far, one of the coolest things I've seen in a movie in quite some time.

Does this mean we will be getting a Freddie/Jason hybrid movie as well??

I mean why think up new ideas when you can mess up old ones. :-x

To me, the hybrid looks awkwardly done.

Ditto. It's ugly, and not in a good way.

It simply looks like they took and Alien and hot glued stuff on. Really no sense of blending or anything.

That's how it looked in the games more or less.

I'm not sure if you know this, but since your post can be taken several different ways, I have to check:

You do know the predalien concept is older than both AvP movies, right?

It was from the first Dark Horse comics series, wasn't it?

I'm not entirely sure. I never really got into the "Expanded Universe" of either series. (Aliens or Predator)

Wikipedia, however, tells me everything I need to know.

Well, I worked on the set of this film, and I can tell you it is a lot more violent. I'm not sure about the quality of acting though..but it really is "the aliens/predator" movie..the humans are not the focus.

There is still alien blood on the ceiling of my store where they kept blowing them up lol.

dud i would tape the area off and put signs everywhere pointing up at the spot...
then make the signs say, "oh yeah, AVP:R was filmed here"

I wonder if it will use Predator weaons? I have the game, but I haven't played it all that much, so I have yet to see a Predalien 8)

Nope. Though a Predalien has Predator features, it's still an Alien. It kills the same way as it always did.

I know it was in the old AvP Computer game ages ago, along with drones, runners, and Praetorians.

Anyway, I am a little dissappointed in the look. The extra mandibles are just sort of stuck on to the traditional head, rather than streamlined into the design, and the Dreadlock's are serious overkill.

Although the Predator skin pattern looks cool, it doesn't make much sense, as human-birthed aliens don't have human skin - I'm willing to forgive that though considering the second (or third?) generation alien/human hybrid in Resurrection did have human skin instead of an alien exoskeleton. Also, why is some of its body silver? I don't think the alien can inherit the DNA for the Predator's armor...

And most of all, I expected the Predalien to be bulkier. It might be big, but it still seems scrawny. Actually, it seems even scrawnier then before with the enlarged armored head.

And to think, I'm that picky and I'm not even a hardcore Alien or Predator fan.
