OMG!!! THE TRANSFORMERS PUNS!!!!!

I was watching the Haunting Hour: Don't think about it on Cartoon Network (I like horror), and then, a commercial for some movie for Ben 10 came on. The narrarator sounds incredibly like Peter Cullen, and his lines (more like puns) kinda get on my nerves.
Here they are:
"He can TRANSFORM into any alien hero."
"There's more to the Omnitrix THEN MEETS THE EYE."
Has anyone else seen this commercial?

I dont think that the first of those "puns" is a pun at all, it just what the Omnitrix does, cause him to transform into an alien

No but CN gets on my nerve often.outside of adult swim all they have is crappy deformed cutout crap with cartoon characters that look like what a bind kid in a coma would make in a cheap bid to attract the wapanese.

Heh. More random TF/CN connections: Perceptor's VA also does the voice for Grandpa Max in Ben 10.

"Transform" isn't exclusive to Transformers, you know that, right?
And it was Peter Cullen. He does most of CN's promos.

Who's it going to offend if nobody get's it? I think I'd laugh it off rahter than rant about being offended.
But yea the cartoons on CN are crap except for [adult swim]. They seem to be moving toward Nickelodeon with all the kids shows like naruto and whatever else (I havn't watched that channel in a year or so).

I'd rather be called "Wapanese" (White, Japanese) than "Wigger" (White, N*gger).
The former is actually not a slam if you think about it. The Japanese have Caucasian skin (even though they are considered not to be White...but whatever.)
The latter is a derogatory term used for all races to say a person is an ignorant subhuman.
So yeah, lemme say that again...I'd rather be called Wapanese.
Still...Astrotrain, you've got to watch yourself. That kinda crap doesn't fly around here and it will be taken care of if the right mods/admins see it.
This is a board of tolerance, and there's no tolerance for that kind of labeling.
Anywho...Peter Cullen does a lot of voice overs for commercials on Cartoon Network. I'd say outside of Don LaFontaine (movie trailers, Blockbuster commercials a few years back) that Cullen's voice is one of the most recognized. No one knows his name, but everyone says "That guy sounds like Optimus." You can't really claim to know Frank Welker like Cullen or LaFontaine...simply because the man is a voice/noise machine and I've never seen/heard anything like it. (It's so frickin' cool.)
And yes. Cartoon Network blows. When Robot Chicken, The Venture Brothers and Aqua Teen Hunger Force on Adult Swim are the only pieces of programming that you can actually enjoy because it's hard to digest that you're watching CN at all...that's a really bad sign.
Ugh. I need a dose of Maalox.

I actually kinda liked Haunting Hour:Don't Think about it to be honest.
I know thats not what this thread is about.
But it had Tobin Bell.
Its hard to go wrong with Tobin Bell.
And finally a movie/tv show that doesnt portray the goth/metal kids as the bad guys.
Not once in all the schools have I been to that the goths/metal kids been the bullies/mean kids.
It's always been the preppy/cheerleader/jock kids.
and as far as cartoons on Cartoon Network go...
The Boondocks rules all

Oh god yes!
Boondocks
Metalocalypse
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Harvey Birdman
They are all some of the best shows on television period
I would say Family Guy and Futurama, but they show the same episodes of Family Guy over and over again and Futurama isn't on anymore

You might be happy to hear that 60 NEW episodes of Futurama are going to air on Comedy Central.

I thought it was a misunderstanding about it being 60.
I thought in the end it was only like 16?
and oh yeah, I forgot Robot Chicken
