Ok so I needed to sell some things on ebay to get by last week. I sold my collection of starwars miniatures. So one guy wins them. It takes him longer to get me my money then I would have liked and I told him out right I am low on funds I will ship them out when the money goes from paypal to my back account and he said he was fine with it. So the money get in there and I ship on the 22. I look on paypal today to see that he has filed a complaint on me saying I never sent the item and never got a hold of him telling him if I did. Going back into my ebay messages I see that I did get a hold of him to tell him they have gone out. I also have a DC# but it slipped my mind to give it to him. But the tracking info said it was forwarded to a different addy when it got to where I had sent it to. His paypal addy. Now I see he is no longer a member of ebay. I'm going to have to call Paypal tomorrow and have a talk with him.

That sucks! I don't know much about ebay and paypal, so all I can really say is good luck!

after something like this I might not deal with selling things or even trading on the internet anymore. The risk just isn't worth it.

I hear you there. Selling in person is always the best way to do it I suppose! That way you get the cash, and they get the item straight up, or vice versa!

because if you click my trade link I got a lot of things I want to trade for but now I won't trust anyone to do it. it pisses me off to no end. I'm a good ebay member. out of 119 reviews on ebay only one was bad and that was 4 years ago when the east coast had that huge blackout.

I'm going to see how Paypal handles it first before I do anything.

a red flag should have popped into my head when I saw a low feedback score and his user name was "to_the_victor_go_the_spoils!". It's odd. He filed the claim when the package was forwarded to the different address

I always hear stories like this and my only experience I have of my own dealing with other people on online sales sites isn't helping either.

I wanted to buy a ps2 game from a guy, I mailed. he rather quickly responded that he still had the game and that he would send it over when he got the money. So I was like "Great, ill just transfer the money right here right now then, the sooner I have the game". 10 minutes after I completed the transfer that guy send a mail with "oh I already sold the game to somebody else after all". Wtf? Now this is probably too damn logical for most people but I would in the very least check if I actually still had the game before mailing 'yes I still do'.
Of course I then mailed back that I wanted my money back, which shouldn't be a problem according to the guy.
I waited and waited. A week passed and I still didnt got my money back, so I shot him an other mail that I waited for a week already, gimme my damn money you bloody scam. On which he replied (roughly translated) "Baaaw I had far more important personal family matters to attend to baaaw baaw no need to be rude baaaw baaaw"
I considered writing back that it wasn't my fault that he was too retarded to actually see if he still had the thing he was trying to sell and that he didn't even apologized once. But I just left it at that, got my money back the other day.

So just got off the phone with paypal. Because it was forwarded it might not work in my favor. If it comes up that it was delivered then it will work in my favor. I jsut hope the USPS will update it to show that it went to the new addy.

Scam like that should get there nuts cut off!

Do what I do have them send you a money order I don't like ebay and paypal was paying off people I never did business with so I got rid of paypal

OOps, I made a typo, but I copied the name he tiped and put it in my url space, well all I see is some chibi girl with a logo saying 4 more years, then I cliked the confirm and cliked the animals and Nature, thingy and I have no idea waht the hell that website is about!
Edit, I just read the FAQ, it's kinda like DA and seibertron, well not interested in it.
