Happy Halloween!

I haven't seen this thread yet (this year). Hope there isn't one or else here comes the lock of disdain.

But happy Halloween y'all. Anyone here still young enough to go out trick-or-treating? I wish I was. It was a blast back in my young'un days.

Anyone have any ghost stories or experiences?

I don't. Just so you don't think I'm holding out on you.

You never get too old for free candy! And from strangers no less!

I'm usually too lazy to dress up these days. :P

I always have a bowl of candy available for the trick-or-treaters...however, living in the boondocks as I do, it's really just an excuse to have a bowl of candy in the house. :P

I've never gone trick or treating. Ever. My brothers birthday is today so it was always out of the question. Didn't really matter anyways since all of the houses around here are way back away from the road and theres barely any lights out on the street. And there are no sidewalks.

Little too much booze at a halloween party, methinks?

Because that post made no sense.

Really. I mean, damn! My birthday's a little over a week from Christmas, but my parents always celebrated it in late November or early December to keep it far enough away. Don't celebrate Halloween? That's insanity. Every kid needs to celebrate debilitating fear, death screams, rotting corpses, and consuming enough candy to instigate diabetes.

How come we're too old for trick-or-treating? :?

It's not exactly the world's safest children's activity and yes, parents have to go with them sometimes.

So why don't THEY dress up just to join in the fun? :P
