Sorry, the above post was me trying to sort my girlfriends account and accidentally left it signed in.

ANYWAY

So what did they get?

Its kinda ironic the TFs are all they left.. insulting too, in a way.

What about the SF collection?

Also, I'm sorry, and hopefully your insurance will cover what was stolen.

The games of course...are gone.

They left the SF figures alone, but took all the X-Men Marvel Legends.

I've never felt like this before...it's surreal.

:( I'm sorry to hear that man. I really am.

I hope they find the scum that did this.

But on the positive, all of your collectibles are still intact, so you won't have to worry about all the money going into those again.

Still...I'm sorry for you.

That blows chunks.
Into a bucket half full of chunk.

Sorry to hear about the loss, hopefully you can get everything back though. Odd that they took the Marvel toys, but not the good ones...

That sucks man. Does your apartment have any security cameras near by? Do you think it could be somebody that knows you wouldn't be home (coworker, neighbor)? What is weird is why would they take the marvel legends, if your not taking all the toys, why take any at all?

Wow, that's just horrible man. I don't really know what else to say.

Thats just wrong
People nowadays seem to just get worse

On the lighter side, you know they are idiots since they left the valuable collectables

Well, if you haven't done this already. Get a list of every single game/system you own, and take that list to every EB/Game Stop/Game Crazy or any other game-trade-in place you have. Explain to them that you were burglarized and that your games were stolen, and if anyone comes in trading in the games on the list to call you or the police.

Edit: Also, scour E-bay for a marvel legends lot coming from your area.

Damn. That really sucks ass... one of those collector nightmares. :-( Hugo has some great advice there, I would try that for sure.

Oh man, CP, I'm sorry man.

That sucks badly. :-(

I don't now if the material loss or the sense of violation would bother me more...

I mean, there's only so much you can do security wise - a crowbar is hard to beat.

Sorry to hear it, CP. If there is anything that I can do to help, let me know. It's a shame that usually the mark that the Holidays are approaching is when people are getting robbed more...it's the same here in southeast MI.

Just last year I caught some jackoff trying to jimmy open my back door on a Saturday. I chased him off, but not before getting his picture, and letting him know about it.

Effing scum with their misplaced sense of entitlement...if you happen to catch the guy, I'll be more than willing to fly up and visit, just so long as he's duct taped to a chair by the time I get there. We can tell the cops that he fell down the stairs.

Now that is just crap, I feel sorry for you man, there's almost nothing wors then the feeling you have when getting robbed.
It's like not real the things you see every day and use are gone, you feel helpless and question justice.

Do what Hugo said, then get a better door, one of those that are build like safe doors, a alarm and a Pitbull, lets see if they fell like coming back after that!

Good luck at getting justice, I do hope they get run over by a truck or something.

Really sorry to hear about this Counterpunch. Did they get like your television and all that too? Odd that someone would go to all the trouble of breaking, entering and stealing just to steal action figures. Not that it makes anything different/better. I'm sorry to hear this CP.

Geez. Can you talk to the apartment people and break the lease due to a lack of security or something? Like don't they have some responsibility for not securing the premesis?

Find them, ask neighbors, go to the Police, let there dogs take the burlgers sent, and if you find them, let them pay!

But to get rid of the feeling, I can't help you, not even comedy videos will help with that.

Start thinking about how to bulk up your home security, it will prevent you from doing something stupid and will help in the future, you do have a insurance of some sort that would help with something like that?

You should be able to get at least a bit of capital back to start new.

Here are some doors (scroll down a bit):
