are there other terms that I'm not understanding?? I read the trolling and general stuff, but is there a definitions section somewhere??

what are toy worthy discussions?

do model kits count as toys?

What about plush toys?

just want clarifications that's all.. 8) I know I'm gonna play stupid, but maybe this will help others out as well..

I have a question, what made you thing to put this in TF Toy? You do know we have a "General Discussion Area" where you can ask a general question like this?

And bumping a thread is when no one replies to you, you reply to your self so that your thread goes to the top. That is consdiered spamming and will earn you a warning.

1. "Bumping a thread" simply means to post in a thread that has gone a long time without any new posts, so as to push it to the top of the thread list. "Necrobump" (A play on the word "Necromancy," that is, to bring back the dead) is bringing back a thread that has gone a significant amount of time without any new posts, usually to the point that it isn't even on the first page of the thread list.

2. I don't know this one, I don't go to the Toy Forums that often.

3. Yes.

4. Also yes. (Hence why it has the word "Toy" in the name)

So I'm guessing that a "Meganecrobump" is when someone bumps a thread from the last page that is about to enter oblivion?

I'd consider a toy-worthy discussion to be any discussion on toys as long as it a) doesn't lead to flaming, b) isn't a duplicate of an already ongoing discussion or c) isn't a 'Mark II' of a thread already locked or removed by a mod.

I'm not sure if discussions about Hasbro or Takara as businesses (without discussing specific toys) would fit in the Toy Forum or General Discussion.

Possibly. All I know is that now I'm going to have my thoughts constantly racing about how I can modify D&D terms to be about forums.

Bumping a thread just means you bump it to the top of the forum.

I am guessing that this thread is to combat this one.

http://www.seibertron.com/forums/viewto ... 22817&sid=

And if so It has been brought to my attention that since you were warned by GetterDragun some time back, it seems that now you critique him and the job that he performs around here.

The rules
http://www.seibertron.com/forums/viewto ... =9613&sid=

1. No flaming, trolling, harassing, or baiting other guests.
Flaming should be self evident, trolling means to make posts or threads for the intended purpose of starting an argument, while baiting is any post intended to make another user resort to flaming. Harassment means following a user or group of users around through multiple threads to flame them, bait them, or otherwise cause them to want to avoid the boards because of a user's actions towards them. If there is a discussion and there ends up some sort of disagreement on someones personal opinion, simply try and respect each others opinions without forcing them on others.

11. Mod's the Word
If a moderator/administrator has to step in and hand out warnings/bans or other disciplines adhere to their wishes. Do not treat the warning as grounds for a personal vendetta. Warnings are carefully thought out, and flaming, bating or harassing a staff member because of it will only lead to a harsher reprimand.

In before the lock...

means sneaking into a thread that will probably be locked before it is actually locked.
