Wow, this is something I never expected to see discussed at a forum I visit. I have a fluorescent yellow pickup truck Fast Traxx, that still works as far as I know. I used to love that thing. I wonder if there's a way to get replacement parts for them? Like new treads, new battery cover, new batteries? On mine one of the battery cover's pins is broken and held on with electrical tape, which sometimes fails and causes the FT to drop its battery as it zooms along. And the treads are wearing out a bit, as I suppose would be expected. I used to love making it pop wheelies and cruise on its rear end. The cat used to love it too ;;)

Uhm, I still have one from way back when... it's beat to hell, shocks are gone, so is the battery cover... the antena cover that makes it stand upright is long gone, the antena for the controller is broken off halfway... the body as a whole is cracked and chipped and help together by clear tape in multiple places....

But if you found a battery, it might still work.

I've been hanging on to it for all these years because it was the only RC car I ever really liked and I just couldn't bare to part with it... I'll trade it for all your figures though. 8)

:P

Hmmm.. I am trying to figure out if this violates Ryan's post in the Carbombya forum..

Seibertron wrote:Apparently too many of you don't understand the phrase "if it sounds too good to be true, then it most likely is." Unfortunatley, too many people have been taking advantage of gullible members on this site. I've had enough with people complaining about being taken advantage of or being ripped off via Carbombya. It sucks that people think that they can come to Seibertron to rip people off. I've had enough of it from both sides. I don't want that kind of environment here on Seibertron. I've wanted Carbombya gone for about a year or so now. After receiving as many complaints as I have lately about this forum, I think it's time to shut it down. If you want to continue trading online with members, do so at your own peril. Don't post about it on Seibertron. If you want to continue posting online trades and risk getting ripped off, then post your buy/sell/trades at another TF site ... it doesn't seem to be working properly here and I don't want some idiot to try and hold this site responsible for their poor misjudgement. I'm tired of dealing with this situation. It's too bad that people ruined what should have been a good idea.

If you want to buy Transformers toys online, then do it via eBay, Rinkya or some other respectable online website. If you want to buy, sell or trade toys like it's the wild, wild west, then expect to get shot at once in a while. It sucks, I know. It's painful, I know. But that's what happens when you buy toys like this is the wild, wild west.

Enough's enough with jerks ripping people off and gullible people buying into their scams. Carbombya is done for the forseable future here on Seibertron.

I've left the forum visible so that those of you who are still finishing up business that you were conducting can view that information. I plan to remove this forum within the next few weeks so please make sure that you finish up whatever business you're in the middle of.

My only advice right now is this, be careful.

Yeah... what's funny / lame is that I've been screwed by deadbeat bidders on ebay. It doesn't matter where you go, you're going to find both good and bad buyers / sellers.
